Introduction of Niu Yongjian

Niu Yongjian (187 ~ 1965), a modern bourgeois revolutionary, was born at No.1 Yutang, maqiao town, Shanghai, and his father was Zhang Shizhang. He was once a magistrate of Zhili County in Qing Dynasty. Yongjian has a profound knowledge of calligraphy. His calligraphy is vigorous and powerful, and has the temperament of everyone. He ranks third with Wu Zhihui and Shen Yinmo, but there are not many handed down works. Yongjian encouraged himself by saying "Don't forgive others, don't blame yourself for being strong", and left Mo Bao in Taiwan Province Qiangshu Middle School who said "Don't forgive others, don't forgive yourself for being strong". Niu Yongjian devoted his life to cultural and educational undertakings and national government affairs, and made great achievements. However, he was indifferent to fame and fortune and was generous to others, which was admired by the world.
