In 1978, he studied under Mr. Hu Gongshi, a nationally famous calligrapher. His works won more than 20 awards including first prize in the first calligraphy competition of "National Moxibustion Cup". Over the years, he has published more than 20 major papers on art and rock painting research. Among them, "A Brief Discussion on the Calligraphy Art of Mr. Yu Youren" won the second prize at the provincial level, and "A Brief Discussion on the Art of Hu Gongshi's Standard Cursive Script" won the third prize at the provincial level.
