Yu Youren (1879-1964), a native of Sanyuan, Shaanxi Province, was born in Jingyang, whose name was Bo Xun, and whose word was You Ren, a veteran of the Kuomintang, an internationally famous calligraphy master, a famous newspaper activist and educator. Together with Liu Juemin and others, he founded Fudan College and China College successively, and organized Shenzhou Daily, Minhu Daily and Minli Daily to publicize bourgeois revolutionary ideas. After the establishment of the provisional government of the Republic of China, he served as the second minister of communications and presided over the Ministry. Later, he became the commander-in-chief of Shaanxi Jingguo Army to oppose Yuan Shikai. Shanghai University was founded in 1922, advocating cooperation between countries. In 1926, together with Feng Yuxiang, Liu Juemin and others, he led the national army to rescue the siege of Xi 'an and became the commander-in-chief in Shaanxi, letting go of the * * * producers and Kuomintang leftists. Later, he served as the supervisor of the National Government. During the Anti-Japanese War, the two parties still openly supported the country to cooperate again.
