-appreciate Mr. Liu's calligraphy art
Mr. Liu is a famous calligrapher in Qilu calligraphy circle. I have been in contact with him for many years, and often spend time reading poems and discussing literature and art together. Every time I go to a drunken place, I will laugh hysterically. Mr. Liu has a wide range of friends now, and his family is often in weddings and funerals. Confucius said, "Virtue is not alone, but there must be neighbors." It must be Mr. Liu's virtue that attracts many literati.
Liu Gongquan once pointed out: "There is a pen in your heart, a regular mind, and a correct pen." Looking at Mr. Liu's calligraphy works, the brushwork is delicate and free, like a dancer coming from Shanshan, with some charm; Its conclusion is calm, dignified and rigorous, just like the monarch in the court, with the style of "one English for preparation"; Its chapters are dense, rhythmic, quiet and magnificent. As Liu Gongquan said, "Keep a pen in your heart". People have virtue, words also have virtue, people have virtue in their hearts, words have virtue, and people's virtue is the basis of word virtue. Mr. Liu's calligraphy attainments are inseparable from his modesty, forbearance, composure and heavy bearing.
Mr. Liu is also good at using virtual pen, which is the throat of calligraphy works and the breath and pulse of strokes. "Guan Zi Yan Shu" said: "If you are angry, you will live, if you are not angry, you will die, and the living will be angry." The general principle of qi is endless and full of energy, and the use of virtual pen makes Mr. Liu's works more vital and powerful. Mrs. Wei's brushwork also said: "Those who are good at writing are skinny, those who are not good at writing are fleshy, those who are skinny and fleshy are called gluten books, those who are fleshy are called ink pigs, those who are strong and rich in tendons are sacred, and those who are weak and without tendons are sick." Virtual pen is like the skeleton of calligraphy works. Proper use of virtual pen can make books rich in bones.
Mr. Liu's rigorous attitude towards calligraphy stems from his father's respect for teachers. Mr. Liu loved calligraphy when he was young, and his father was also a famous calligrapher. So every Spring Festival, many people come to ask questions. Teacher Liu is kind and helpful, and can't bear to refuse. And Mr. Liu saw that his father worked hard and consciously worked hard, so he secretly wrote a few words for his father and put them on his desk. When Mr. Liu Lao saw Mr. Liu's book, he severely reprimanded Mr. Liu and asked him to study hard. Since then, Mr. Liu has studied calligraphy hard.
"It's cold to sit on the bench for ten years", and everyone familiar with Mr. Liu knows that Mr. Liu always studies late into the night and is still tireless. However, you can't be a calligrapher just by working hard. Wang Xizhi said in "After Mrs. Wei's Paintings": "If you learn less from Mrs. Wei's books, you will be great; He crossed the river to visit the famous mountains in the north, read books such as Lisi and Cao, and then made a promise to read Zhong You and Liang You's books, then read Cai Yong's The Book of Songs, and then read Hua Yue Monument. It took several years to learn Mrs. Wei's books. I changed my major and studied in a historic site. " Only by studying the books of a hundred schools of thought and not sticking to one pattern can we form our own style and achieve a book of one family. Active and lasting, in Mr. Liu's study, all kinds of books and posts are dazzling, and Mr. Liu knows every kind of book like the back of his hand, and he can abandon its shape and take advantage of it, making it refreshing and inspiring. All these have laid a solid foundation for the formation of its "six-body Li Shu".
Today, Mr. Liu's "Liu Ti Li Shu" is mature and widely recognized. I once suggested that Mr. Liu improve his works, but Mr. Liu didn't agree. He told me: "The art of calligraphy belongs to the nation and the public. I should popularize the art of calligraphy like Mr. Wei Qihou, not just for my own benefit. My work should be acceptable to ordinary families. "
