Also known as Jingshi and Jinshi. The courtesy name is Mourning Kan, the name is Dazhai, and the other name is Chi Weng. A native of Ruian, Zhejiang. Epigraphic calligrapher. He inherited his family studies since childhood and specialized in the study of epigraphy, calligraphy and seal sealing.
He once worked in Zhejiang Library and Shanghai Zhonghua Book Company, and participated in the editing of "Cihai". He had close contacts with Ma Yifu, Ding Fuzhi, Fang Jiekan and others. His calligraphy skills vary from genre to genre, and he is good at seal script and running cursive script. His calligraphy style is strong, elegant, and smooth. The seal carving is exquisite, using French and Han seals, and the work is solemn, vigorous, simple, skillful and clumsy, integrating the strengths of each family to create its own appearance.
