Gao Chenggong Copybook for calligraphy

I am also a calligraphy lover. Here's my experience:

First, write hard words without a pen. Pencils, ballpoint pens and gel pens are also acceptable, but pens are more stable, easier to write and relatively suitable for practice.

Second, Pang Zhonghua's handwriting is too rigid, neat and artistic. If you just want to write better, it doesn't hurt to practice; If you want to further pursue the attainments of calligraphy, it is easy to be imprisoned by his rigid font. At present, Tian Yingzhang, Lu Zhongnan, Gu Zhongan, Qian Peiyun and others have a high recognition of hard pen calligraphy. Running script has been highly recognized by Gu Zhongan, Qian Peiyun, Wu Yusheng, Shen Genhong, Gao Chenggong and others. I personally recommend a man named Wang Xuewen to you. He is not famous, but his calligraphy is beautiful. You can search for "Wang Xuewen Hard Pen" in Baidu pictures.

Third, calligraphy is the embodiment of a skill. If you pursue the realm, you may never understand it, but if you practice hard, I think it will have obvious results in about a month. Although there are certain requirements for practice time and training volume, whether the effect is obvious is not necessarily proportional to the training volume. Perseverance can lead to success in study. On this basis, I think the key lies in intention. When practicing, you should try to figure out the structure of words and write with your heart. It may be better to write one word with your heart than to write three words blindly. As long as you are careful, you will make rapid progress.

I hope my words are helpful to you and I wish you an early progress.
