The evolution and development of China's calligraphy.

The evolution of China's calligraphy began with Chinese characters, which can be roughly divided into several stages: ancient prose, seal script, official script, regular script, running script and cursive script. The evolution and reform of Chinese characters in China are not based on the art of calligraphy, but on the needs of social development. However, the reformed and simplified fonts are always mastered by later calligraphers and become a new body of calligraphy artistic expression. The same font, at different stages, has its own different physical features, even multi-character and different shapes, which constantly enriches the expressive force of calligraphy art.
