Born in 1929, originally from Hunan. Influenced by his scholarly family, he loved literature, calligraphy and painting since childhood. /kloc-at the age of 0/3, he decided to study calligraphy and painting. However, due to the war, he was unable to formally enter the Master of Arts School. He taught himself calligraphy and painting by his own perseverance until he was 18 years old and was recommended to study art in East China Academy of Fine Arts. However, many things happened, and one year after the war broke out, he did not finish his studies, which became the regret of Huang Lao's life.
From 65438 to 0949, Huang Lao joined the China People's Liberation Army and served as the propaganda captain and political assistant in the army. No matter what position he was in, no matter how bad the environment was, he never gave up his brush. In order to inspire soldiers' fighting spirit, to sing praises to war heroes, and to all the touching things in his military career, he kept writing. In those passionate years, the pen in his hand not only supported him to become a dream, but also became an excellent expression of his rich life experience.
On the battlefield, Huang Lao repeatedly made meritorious military service and won many honors. However, behind the honor, there are also unknown pains. 1956 was seriously injured in the war and transferred to local work. In May of the same year, he joined Hunan Branch of China Artists Association as a director. During his work, Huang Lao was deeply honored to listen to the teachings of Zhou Libo, Tie Ke, Zhang Yizun and other predecessors, and firmly believed that these experiences benefited him a lot in life and painting.
