As one of the standards of literary criticism, who first put forward "the character of style"

The style of painting discussion began with Sheikh's "Records of Ancient Paintings" in Southern Qi Dynasty. In the preface, Sheikh put forward six criteria for evaluating paintings, one of which is "vivid charm" and the other is "using bone and pen". The former focuses on Shen Feng, which is similar in spirit, while the latter focuses on pens caused by powerful bone stalks. Sheikh also divided the painters into six categories, and evaluated Cao Zou, the painter. He thought that "if there is no trace of interest, it is almost impossible to reproduce, only Yilong is in the secret pavilion. Look at its character, its name is empty! " In the later painting theory, the concept of "style" was widely used. "Style" is also used for calligraphy evaluation. Mrs. Jin Wei's "Pen Map" said: "Those who are good at writing are bony, while those who are not good at writing are fleshy. The skinny and fleshy one is called Jin Shu, and the fleshy one is called Mozhu. The strong and the strong are holy, and the weak are sick. " (Shu Yao Lu) On Calligraphy by Zhang Huai in the Tang Dynasty introduced "style" into calligraphy criticism. He said: "Those who have the spirit of fengshen will reach the summit. Those who are beautiful will survive next. " The cursive script says, "Take the word as the body to turn it into use."
