A native of Gushi County, Henan Province. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Nanjing University of the Arts, the Master's Program of the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the Calligraphy Master's Program of Capital Normal University. He is currently a member of the Art Working Committee of the Youth Federation of the Ministry of Culture, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, and a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association.
