1986-2002 was hired as honorary chairman of Jiangmen Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
In the early 1940s, he went to junior high school in Hong Kong. After the fall of Hong Kong, he returned to China to study and join the anti-Japanese art propaganda team to create cartoons and murals.
1986 moved to Hong Kong. He has held solo watercolor exhibitions in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macau and California. In 2004, the 62nd Anniversary Exhibition was held in Guangdong Art Museum.
He has published monographs such as Printmaking Collection, Watercolor Collection, Selected Paintings of Chen Bojian and Watercolor Sketch Collection of Chen Bojian.
1996 was awarded "Luxun Printmaking Award" by China Printmakers Association.
Representative works include: Anti-Japanese cartoon Gong Lan breaks two lines of tears, printmaking Lu Xun's Endeavour, musicians Xian Xinghai, Pavarotti, watercolor painting Girl in Sportswear, Flower-faced Woman and so on.
His works have been collected by Guangdong Art Museum, Guangzhou Art Museum, Jiangsu Art Museum, Shenzhou Printmaking Museum, Beijing Lu Xun Museum, Cultural Bureau of Macao SAR Government, Korea, Japan and other art institutions, and also by private collections in Macao and San Francisco.
