Wang Xizhi (303-36 1 year) was born in Linyi (now Linyi City, Shandong Province). Minister and calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, son of Yin in Danyang, son-in-law of Jane, known as "Book Sage".

He is good at calligraphy, as well as official script, cursive script, regular script and other styles. He studied the style, imitated the hand and pursued it, learned from others' strengths, prepared the essence, melted into one furnace, and got rid of the style of writing in Han and Wei dynasties, which had far-reaching influence. The style is peaceful and natural, the brushwork is euphemistic and subtle, and it is beautiful. In the history of calligraphy, he was called "Zhong Wang" with Zhong You and "Two Kings" with his son Wang Xianzhi.

Second, Yan Zhenqing.

Yan Zhenqing (August 23, 709-784) was born in Lingya Linyi (now Linyi City, Shandong Province) and Jingzhao Wannian (now Xi City, Shaanxi Province). Yan Shigu V was a famous official, calligrapher and secretary supervisor in the Tang Dynasty. He was once a famous painter such as Sun and Situ.

Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy is exquisite and good at it. Chu Suiliang, a beginner, studied under Zhang Xu and got his brushwork. Its regular script is dignified and majestic, and its running script is vigorous and powerful, which has created a "Yan style" regular script and has a great influence on later generations. Together with Zhao Mengfu, Liu Gongquan and Ou Yangxun, they are also called "four masters of regular script". Together with Liu Gongquan, they are called "Yan Liu" and "Yangu".

He is also good at poetry, such as You, Ji, Wu, Ji, Lu Ji and Linchuan Ji, all of which have been lost. The Song people compiled Yan Ji.

Third, Ou Yangxun.

Ou Yangxun (about 557-64 1) was born in Linxiang County (now Changsha City, Hunan Province). Tang dynasty minister and calligrapher. Son of Ouyang Yao.

Ou Yangxun is proficient in calligraphy, and he is also called "the four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty" with Yu Shinan, Chu Suiliang and Xue Qi. Because his son Ouyang Tong is good at calligraphy, the father and son are called "Big Europe". Calligraphy is in danger in Pingzhong, nicknamed "European style". Masterpieces: Regular script includes Jiuchenggong Li Quanming, Huangfu Birthday Monument, Huadu Temple Monument, and running script includes Zhong Nimeng's stickers and thousands of characters.

He has his own unique views on calligraphy, including eight methods of calligraphy works, teaching strategies and thirty-six methods of brushwork. Huadu Temple Buddhist Pagoda Inscription, Yugonggong Wenyanbo Inscription and Huangfushengchen Inscription are called "the first regular script in the Tang Dynasty".
