"Fish Full of Ponds" is full of fun and free and easy. A look at Yuan Ye in the lonely north reminds me of my feelings for the isolated island in northern Shandong. The endless vilen and the birds that suddenly started up in the vast reeds are full of vitality and make people feel a little sad. I can hardly say that Chen's traditional Chinese painting is perfect, but he paints with his heart, which is the most important thing for a painter. Chen's landscape painting was personally taught by Mr Guan Yousheng and Mr Heibolong, and was also deeply influenced by the two teachers. When he asked Mr. Black for advice with his Mountain City Chongqing, he was praised by the teacher and happily wrote an inscription for him. We can see the influence of Mr. Heibolong in his two works, Castle Peak can't be covered, after all, it flows eastward, and Gorge Out of Pinghu. Therefore, Chen has a deep traditional foundation in landscape painting, and because he knows that life is the source of art, he attaches great importance to the experience and sketching in life, and wants to "search for strange peaks and draw manuscripts" with his own practice. In the 1980s, he traveled all over Mount Tai, Mount Huangshan, Mount Emei, Mount Qingcheng, Huashan and other famous mountains. While sketching and painting, he made friends and learned skills from each other along the way, which increased his knowledge, broadened his horizons and made great progress in painting. Chen is studious, unpretentious, simple and amiable, so his paintings have a mellow and simple atmosphere, giving people a cordial feeling.
