Brief analysis
Changshu Yushan is a famous scenic spot in southern Jiangsu, and has now become a national forest park. Guangfu Temple at the northern foot of Yushan Mountain is a famous Buddhist temple with more charming scenery. Meditation after the broken mountain temple, a poem by Mi Fei, a great calligrapher in the Song Dynasty, was engraved on a stone tablet in the temple, which became the crowning touch of Xiao Fu Ji. When Chang Jian wrote poems, Joy's style was definitely different from today's, but we can point out the characteristics of natural environment such as high forest, bamboo trail, mountain light and pond shadow one by one, so that people can realize the artistic conception conveyed in Chang Jian's poems.
The poetic scene is gradually developed with the progress of sightseeing. The word "early morning" in the first sentence indicates the time of travel, and the poet "entered the ancient temple" early in the morning, which shows his yearning for this Buddhist scenic spot. After a short walk, I entered the mountain gate, and it was time for the morning light to point to the treetops. The second sentence not only explains the passage of time, but also describes the overall style of the ancient temple, which is quiet and quiet under the rising sun in a large area of high trees. The second part of the poem is the experience after entering the temple, walking on a path between bamboo forests, which is full of monks' squats. The flowers and trees here are green, and the atmosphere is more peaceful and elegant. The "secluded place" and "deep flowers and trees" in the sentence not only show the unique environmental atmosphere, but also convey the poet's appreciation and admiration. The third part of the poem describes the poet's appreciation. These two sentences say that mountain light makes wild birds feel at ease; The shadow of the pool eliminates all distractions in people's hearts. As far as nature is concerned, the previous sentence said that this place is a place where birds and mountains talk together and it is a peaceful atmosphere. As far as people and the natural environment are concerned, the scenery here can not only entertain people's eyes and ears, but also purify people's souls. The restless and tired mentality of tourists in the world, once here, is immediately calmed down by the clear pool shadow, and the spirit is sublimated to a brand-new world. The "mountain light" in the sentence refers to the reflection of "the first day" between vegetation and rocks; "Pool Shadow" is the reflection of mountain light and sky in the water. This way of writing not only matches the second sentence "the morning light points to the treetops" in structure, but also makes "the first day" run through, highlighting the first day of this round, which makes people feel that the sunshine here has special charm. The reader finally realized that the poet's intention in writing "Mountain Light" and "Pool Shadow" was to set off the first day in his heart. It is the illumination of Buddha's light that makes the mountain light and pool shadow here achieve the miraculous effect of "welcoming birds" and "emptying people's hearts", making the natural landscape and sunshine clean, quiet, serene and peaceful, thus forming the pure land of Duanshan Temple. The couplet at the end of this poem breaks this praise of Buddhist magic. The poet said that at this moment, all external voices seem to be silent and disappeared, only long bells and crisp chimes are echoing, broadcasting in the distance, as if on guard, as if indulging, as if praising consciousness. The poet's whole body and mind are integrated into a strong religious atmosphere, and writing about sightseeing can reach this level, which is really fascinating.
The whole poem has distinct levels, vague artistic conception and profound meaning, and has always been widely read. The idiom "A winding path leads to a secluded place" and "All is silent" evolved from this poem and is still in use today.
So it's a "bamboo path leading to a secluded place"
