Introduction: The following is an excerpt from the book Zhang Zhankui Xingyi Bagua Palm published by Mr. Mou Jundong in 26 by Hong Kong Chinese Studies Publishing House.
Preface
Preface
In 1992, I learned from Mr. Sun Shizhen-song, a master of Neijia Boxing, about Tai Ji Chuan's pushing hand, and was able to point out the logic of form, meaning and gossip. After practicing martial arts for 3 years, on the basis of inheriting and summarizing what I have learned, I have formed a unique teaching method and style.
Encouraged by Mr. Zhang Yongchun, a good friend of the League, he got a rough idea of Mr. Zhang Gongzhan Kui's Bagua Palm, so he recorded what he learned. It's just an inheritance, not my invention, so it's just a work of "telling without doing". Because the research on "Zhang's Bagua Palm" is still lacking in depth, it is inevitable that there are shortcomings, so I hope that experts at home and abroad will criticize and correct me.
whether practicing boxing or studying another skill or art, you must first know the second place. If you start from college, it will certainly give beginners the feeling that they are "in the spring and snow" and "castles in the air". In this pamphlet, the boxing theory and boxing method are discussed, trying not to quote or quote less the theory, image, number, yin and yang, five elements, gossip and other terms that are rarely contacted in modern society, especially those that are difficult for young people to understand. I try my best to explain the most basic and elementary things of Zhang Zhankui Bagua Palm in a simple way with the most popular language and the simplest metaphor of "Xialiba", which is beneficial for beginners. Popularity and simplicity are not necessarily low-level, which is also the principle of simplicity in the Book of Changes.
the action of photos is also done according to the requirements of beginners to "set rules", just like regular script in calligraphy, for beginners to copy. I hope this booklet will be beneficial to friends and beginners who like Zhang Zhankui Bagua Palm.
as for the soft training method and the combination of rigidity and softness, this book has mentioned it, but it has not been deeply involved. Let's talk about it again in "Zhang Zhankui Bagua Palm Telling the Truth". I think Que Ning should not be chaotic, so as not to be unclear, but to add trouble to beginners. As for the long and short soldiers, they are not included in this book, but they are also discussed slightly, which will be recorded later.
Chapter I Introduction to Zhang Zhankui's Xingyi Bagua Palm
Section I Origin and Development of Zhang Zhankui's Xingyi Bagua Palm
Bagua Palm is a traditional martial art with precise theory and method, unique style and its own system. It has been more than 1 years since Mr. Dong Haichuan created the Eight Diagrams Palm in the late Qing Dynasty.
I don't know when the earliest source of Bagua Palm originated. Because Dong Gong didn't talk about the specific origin and inheritance of this boxing, and there was no detailed historical data, there have always been different opinions and it is unknown. I think it should be compiled by Dong Gong on the basis of practicing and studying many martial arts schools and according to his own experience for many years.
Bagua Palm is named after the Book of Changes, and Dong Haichuan's reasoning method of Bagua Palm is also from the Book of Changes. In the preface of Bagua Boxing, Mr. Sun Lutang's first sentence is: "Easy to use, broad and subtle, learning from the inside and learning from the outside, the number of famous objects and images is numerous, so there is no exception. And the skill of self-cultivation is particularly detailed. " Therefore, Yi Li is the boxing principle.
Since Dong Gong created the Eight Diagrams Palm in Beijing, "several thousand people, from Tong Xian to craftsmen and dignitaries, have each given an art." There are many famous artists, including Yin Fu, Ma Weiqi, Shi Jidong, Cheng Tinghua, Fan Zhiyong, Liu Baozhen, Liang Zhenpu, Liu Fengchun, Li Cunyi, Zhang Zhankui and Liu Dekuan.
Wushu in China tends to develop vertically, with little horizontal communication. Since Mr. Dong Haichuan communicated with Mr. Liu Qilan and Mr. Guo Yunshen, which initiated the communication between Xingyiquan and Bagua Palm, there has been a saying that "Xingyiquan and Bagua are one door" since then. It is precisely because of the broad minds of these modern martial arts masters that they started the horizontal communication of martial arts, which made the martial arts more perfect. It is under the guidance of this thought that through the great exchanges and integration of Mr. Cheng Tinghua, Mr. Li Cunyi, Mr. Zhang Zhankui and Mr. Liu Fengchun. Mr. Li Cunyi and Mr. Zhang Zhankui began to combine Xingyiquan and Bagua Palm into one, which is the initial practice of "two fists in one". Therefore, some people call the Bagua Palm taught by Mr. Zhang Zhankui "Xingyi Bagua Palm".
Zhang Zhankui's eight diagrams palm is a "Tao" and a philosophy in a big way; In a small way, he is an art and a skill. It not only has a rich theoretical basis, but also has specific operation methods. It is a high degree of integration and unity of "Xingyiquan is strange and positive" and "Bagua Palm is vertical and horizontal"; He is the perfect combination of theory and practice; He is one of the practical representatives of "two fists in one" in the eight diagrams of form and meaning. Since Mr. Zhang Zhankui, many famous artists have come forth in large numbers, with more than 3, disciples. Famous people, such as Han Muxia, Jiang Rongqiao, Wang Junchen, Zhao Daoxin, Qiu Zhihe, Zhang Yuanzhai (son), Wang Shujin,,,,, and so on, are all dragons and phoenixes among the people. Disciples and grandchildren spread from Beijing and Tianjin (Han Muxia, Zhao Daoxin, Qiu Zhihe) to the sea (Jiang Rongqiao), to Shanxi (Wang Junchen), to Qilu (Zhu Dehe, Sun Zhensong), Jiangsu (Qian Shuqiao), Yunnan (Sha Guozheng), Taiwan Province (Wang Shujin),,,, and even to the whole country, and even to all parts of the world such as Japan. In particular, Mr. Jiang Rongqiao's book Baguazhang is concise and has a circulation of tens of millions, which has contributed to the promotion of Baguazhang.
Characteristics of Zhang Zhankui's Xingyi Bagua Palm in the second quarter
Because Dong Gong "taught each other a skill", schools with different characteristics were formed. For example, because Mr. Yin Fu first practiced arhat boxing and bouncing his legs, he formed the palm shape: ox tongue palm. Characteristics of pace: small steps and quick steps, casual pace, quick and flexible, and good use of leg methods. Strength: cold, crisp, fast, hard, good at wearing points, but still straight. Posture: concise and flexible. Because Mr. Cheng Tinghua had only learned wrestling, he combined soft fall and quick fall with the hitting method taught by Dong Gong, so he formed the palm shape: dragon claw palm. Characteristics of pace: big and heavy steps, swinging and twisting, and making good use of hidden legs. Strength: loose, soft and heavy, good at chopping, but still horizontal. Posture: Flexible as Youlong.
Because Mr. Zhang Zhankui first practiced Xingyiquan from Mr. Liu Qilan, the eldest disciple of Mr. Li Luoneng, the originator of Xingyiquan, the bagua palm he taught was mostly influenced by Xingyiquan, thus forming a unique style of "Zhang's Xingyiquan Bagua Palm". Therefore, some people call Mr. Zhang Zhankui's Bagua Palm "Xingyiquan in a circle".
Zhang Zhankui's Xingyi Bagua Palm is an internal boxing technique, which takes Yi-ology as the guide, turns twisting and walking into the main form of exercise and exercise method, rolls (twists), drills (pierces) and wraps the endless spiral strength, and combines the singularity of Xingyi Boxing with the long and short, and the vertical and horizontal correction of Bagua Palm's palm, posture and footwork into a means of martial arts, combining rigidity with flexibility.
