I like calligraphy since I was a child. After retiring, he entered Liaoning Veterans' University, studied under Ren Shuheng, Li Yongkuan and other professors, and began to study Yan, Liu and "Two Kings", and then studied Zhang Qian. His works have participated in many national, provincial and municipal painting and calligraphy exhibitions and won awards. His works have been compiled into 10 volumes, such as Selected Works of China Painters, Oriental Painting and Calligraphy Great Wall Scroll, and China International Painting and Calligraphy Yearbook. Among them, Kong Fansen, the Party's Good Cadre, Su Wu's Red Cliff Nostalgia, Caiyungui and other works were exhibited in China Art Museum, Military Museum, Singapore, Japan and South Korea respectively, and were awarded the' 95 Cross-century Hanmo Art Talent Certificate by china national radio Ministry of Social Education and China Talent Research Association. He was hired as a painter by China Academy of Fine Arts and Inner Mongolia Calligraphy and Painting Development Service respectively. He was awarded the title of "Excellent Calligrapher" by Liaoning Provincial Museum of Mass Art.. Other works were collected and presented to friends at home and abroad by Chinese Yanhuang Culture Research Association, the national "Luobo Cup" art circle, the second national "Red Army Cup" organizing committee and other cultural departments, and participated in "Hope Project", disaster relief charity sale and other activities for many times, which was well received by all walks of life.
