Yunfeng Mountain Scenic Area in Laizhou introduces Yunfeng Mountain, also known as Wenfeng Mountain, commonly known as Bijia Mountain, which is a national key cultural relics protection unit, located 7.5 kilometers south of Laizhou, Yantai. Yunfeng Mountain is rugged with grotesque rocks, towering peaks, lush valleys and picturesque scenery. Yunfeng Mountain is 305 meters above sea level. From the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, there are 37 stone carvings in the past dynasties. Yunfeng Hall, located in the forest and built in 1984, has Yunfeng Mountain Management Office, Zheng Daozhao Memorial Hall, rest room and shopping place.
Zheng Daozhao, a famous calligrapher of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the secretariat of Gwangju, left 1 17 precious inscriptions on this mountain in 565438. These inscriptions were all carved on the steep cliffs in the mountain. Zheng Daozhao's calligraphy is a valuable material for studying the evolution of China characters from official script to regular script. The main stone carvings on the mountain include Zheng Wengong Xiabei, Jinglun Book History and Guan Hai General History, which were designated as key cultural relics protection units by the State Council in 1998.
