Send to Senior Brother Yang

? I haven’t contacted Senior Brother Yang from Ningwu, Shanxi for a long time. Recently, I have been feeling like I want to say hello. Unexpectedly, when I had time to send a WeChat message last night, I learned that Senior Brother had left here a month ago. A world like a big dream...

When I heard the news, I felt like a mountain was falling apart and the earth was cracking, and the pain was unbearable! I felt the pain in my heart, and the tears couldn't help but flow freely... Last year, I learned that my senior brother's condition had worsened, but I was unable to see him in time due to various reasons. Although I actively helped analyze the condition and treatment, After all, I have enough ambition but not enough strength... Amitabha, this person has passed away, it is too late to regret!

? Senior Brother Yang, a well-known man, sixty years old, honest and sincere in temperament. Ten years ago, we studied the Sixth Form of Yang Style Tai Chi together in Beijing, and because of the recommendation of my senior brother, I attended Master Zhu Datong’s Wu Style Tai Chi course. This gave me the opportunity to meet my mentor in life, the Nanyang martial artist Cao Shuren. Sir (taught me Tai Chi and guided me on the path to enlightenment).

During those few months in Beijing, I learned a lot from Senior Brother Yang, such as being diligent, studious, simple and honest, and enthusiastic in treating others. Especially one time I caught a cold and had a fever, which was only three times since I was a child. This was the first time I had a fever. I was afraid of the cold all over, but the temperature remained high. Several of my companions in the dormitory were at a loss. I was even more uncomfortable lying under the quilt. I was away from home at the time, with no relatives or friends around. Fortunately, Senior Brother Yang helped me take the prescribed Chinese medicine decoction, and the sweating was relieved. As a result, I became very interested in Chinese medicine!

? Senior brother once said that the road to traditional Chinese medicine is difficult and it is a long road of study, so you must be mentally prepared. I kept his encouragement in mind and strengthened my determination to study medicine.

? His handwriting is very good. Even when he takes notes, he writes in regular regular script. He rarely uses running script and is accustomed to Pang Zhonghua's hard pen. Although I have loved hard-pen calligraphy since the sixth grade of elementary school, I did not insist on it. From my senior brother, I rekindled my passion for hard-pen calligraphy.

? Senior brother always walks leisurely and unhurriedly. We all go to a nearby restaurant to eat together. We are all hungry and eager to find food, but he always walks leisurely. Pacing. He actually likes to eat Shanxi shaved noodles, and he is very happy to be able to eat a slightly more authentic bowl of shaved sour noodles in Beijing. At that time, I knew that not only do we have a variety of delicious noodles in Shaanxi, but Shanxi’s shaved noodles are also good.

? Senior brother also has less white hair, and has more gray hair than the average person, but he does not deliberately dye it black, he just shows his true colors naturally.

? He can calm down very much when practicing Qigong. I remember that many of our teachers and students often practiced Bagua Walking and Turning together at seven o'clock in the evening. The senior brother could always slow down and be extremely calm. When I first started practicing, I was a little drifting and had not yet mastered the essentials. My neck, shoulders, waist, elbows and knees were all weak Sink in nicely.

? My senior brother’s love for Tai Chi also inspired me. During that time, he was still consulting a pediatric Chinese medicine expert in Beijing. He was not very busy, so he introduced me to famous Tai Chi masters. Only then did I have a trip to Yongnian, Handan (the hometown of Yang Style Tai Chi), and a trip to Chenjiagou in Wen County. (the birthplace of Chen Style Tai Chi)... and even went to Zhongshan Park west of the Forbidden City in Beijing one weekend to visit Master Cui Zhongsan (the successor of Yang Style Tai Chi). Encouraged by my senior brother, I also visited Teacher Wei Shuren, a disciple of Wang Yongquan's lineage. At that time, the old man was too old to teach, so I went to study alone with Teacher Wei Shuren's daughter in a courtyard in the eastern suburbs of Beijing for seven days.

? Without the recommendation and encouragement from my senior brother, I would not have thought of attending Teacher Zhu’s Tai Chi class (because I was new to Tai Chi at the time and had no idea what teachers there were in the Tai Chi world), and I would not have met the person I am now. My mentor Mr. Cao Shuren. The causes and conditions of life are like this. There are certain numbers somewhere, and they are destined to reunite after a long time, and to separate after a long time together, because we are all just passers-by in the world...

? The four seasons reincarnate, day and night change, and so does life. Birth, growth, strength, oldness, and death, all without stopping. All things in the world are cyclically interpreting "formation, residence, destruction and emptiness".

? Senior brother left as soon as he said he was leaving. I didn’t have time to see him, and his karma in this life was also very hasty. And how long can each of us live in this world?

I still remember that when we were in Beijing, Senior Brother Yang, Sister Junfang, and I often discussed the meaning of life and our thoughts on life together.

Because they were much older than me and were old friends from the same hometown, they talked more. I was very curious about what they were discussing at the time, and now it seems that like-minded people naturally have endless things to say. But in the vast sea of ??people, it’s hard to find a true friend!

During the break between classes in Beijing, a large group of students, led by the teacher, also went to Badachu together. At that time, I had not yet learned Buddhism. When I entered the temple, I would only look at the flowers and show no respect at all. In the bustling crowd, I saw my senior brother kneeling devoutly in front of every statue of Buddha and Bodhisattva. He always had a statue hanging on his chest. The small chanting machine hummed softly. I was puzzled at the time, but I was deeply moved by my senior brother’s sincerity. He always persisted in his spiritual practice.

? A few years ago, I went to Ningwu once to visit Sister Junfang and Senior Brother Yang. At that time, Sister Junfang prepared delicious food for us, and I lived and slept with her. During the day, I went to Senior Brother Yang’s clinic to observe and learn. When I had time, I taught the top ten styles of Wu Style Tai Chi I learned to my Senior Brother and Senior Sister. Those days were short and wonderful.

The senior brother used his medicine to bring the gospel to his fellow villagers. At that time, he was still working at the County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. In addition to going to work during the week, there was an endless stream of common patients in the outpatient clinic at home on weekends and evenings. During the few days I went to Ningwu, I also helped get medicine.

? He solved the problems and illnesses of the villagers, but failed to cure his own disease; although he failed to cure his own disease, he healed the bodies of countless villagers over the decades!

Everyone who has ever been in this world has had a good time, no matter how long or short it is. When the karma for this life comes, he will naturally leave us silently and go to other dimensions, or be reincarnated as a human being to continue to complete his mission.

Meeting is like a dream, gathering and parting in a hurry. Cherish everyone and everything around us. If you think of someone, go and see it in time. Don’t wait for it. It’s so sad that people are gone!

Amitabha, I wish you good luck, brother. In these three thousand worlds, no matter where you are, be determined to practice and get to the lotus platform as soon as possible!
