Zhu Ruzhen, the last scholar in Qing Dynasty.

Zhu Ruzhen (1870- 1943) was a calligrapher and essayist from Qingyuan. In the 30th year of Guangxu (1904), he won the second place in the final examination and was awarded the editing by the Hanlin Academy. He is a legendary historical figure.

He was admitted to Qingyuan County School as the champion of the county examination. At the age of 22, he was admitted to Guangya College with excellent results, ranking first in Guangzhou. At the age of 27, he took the eight public examinations, handed over the first-class imperial examination to seven small officials in Beijing, and won the prize for Jiangsu Division of the Ministry of Punishment, from which he began his career. He lived in Beijing from 65438 to 0942 at the age of 72.
