Brief introduction of Chang Zhicheng

In 2000, it was necessary to find a contemporary calligrapher to write Song Lian's "Reading the River and Lou Ji", which was included in the "Review of Ancient Literature", and to openly collect calligraphy manuscripts from the whole country. Many famous artists competed to contribute. After a lot of screening, Chang Zhicheng's works stand out from China's numerous works and are engraved on the largest marble monument in the history of China, which has been handed down from generation to generation. For a time, Chang Zhicheng became famous, his calligraphy works were collected by all walks of life at home and abroad, and the auction price soared.

The three commemorative works written by Chang Zhicheng have international historical influence: The Story of Yuejiang Tower is the largest royal marble monument in the history of China, and it is the treasure of Yuejiang Tower, a national 4A-level scenic spot. It was once reported by CCTV's feature film Talking about the Yangtze River, with far-reaching influence; "On Qin" is the best among the sages. It is displayed in Jiataifu Temple in Changsha, Hunan, and is a national key cultural relic. The Great Compassion Mantra, the first holy place of Buddhism in China on the top of Bodhisattva in Wutai Mountain, Shanxi Province, is a world heritage site.

Monuments and plaques of many famous temples and scenic spots in China were inscribed by Mr. Chang Lao, a special guest. Therefore, he was called "the calligrapher with the most inscriptions and plaques in contemporary China" by the media.
