Since its establishment, the College has made good achievements in teaching and scientific research. The mission of China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting Culture is to cultivate high-quality professionals in calligraphy research, calligraphy creation and calligraphy education, and to carry out scientific research on calligraphy, so as to make the Academy a training base for high-level talents in calligraphy education and calligraphy research in our school and even in the whole province, and a base for calligraphy and painting art creation, and to build the Academy into a first-class calligraphy education and scientific research institution in the whole province. My future work will focus on calligraphy research and postgraduate training. At present, the three graduate students enrolled are all in the direction of art and calligraphy. The training goal is to train a group of professionals with strong scientific research ability and calligraphy creation ability, who can engage in middle and higher calligraphy education and calligraphy research, and hope to produce a group of calligraphy theorists and calligraphers among them until a group of calligraphy educators are produced. At present, the teaching management of painting and calligraphy institutes has entered a mature stage of standardization, scientificity, openness, efficiency and modernization from the initial exploration stage. After that, we should gradually adjust the professional courses of graduate students, so that the curriculum of this new major will gradually step into a standardized and scientific road. Calligraphy is a new subject. Although China has a complete system of calligraphy education from junior college students to undergraduates, master students, doctoral students and postdoctoral students, calligraphy as a discipline has always been attached to art, and art belongs to two disciplines. During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, another focus of our college is the construction of calligraphy discipline, striving to complete the transformation of calligraphy into a first-class discipline, and at the same time striving to become a key discipline at the school level and even at the provincial level.
