Cai Yong (133-192), courtesy name Bojie . A native of Chenliu County (yǔ) (now Yuen Town, Kaifeng City, Henan Province). He was a famous writer and calligrapher in the Eastern Han Dynasty and the father of the famous talented woman Cai Wenji. Because he was promoted to General Zuo Zhonglang, later generations called him "Cai Zhonglang".
At first he refused to be called up, but was later recruited by Situ Qiaoxuan and served as the chief of Heping. He was recruited as a doctor and participated in the continuation of "Dongguan Han Ji". He moved to Yilang and participated in the engraving of the Xiping Stone Sutra. Because of his outspokenness, he was framed by eunuchs and exiled to Shuofang. After many twists and turns, he took refuge in Jiangnan for twelve years.
