Because of the outstanding achievements of Sun Shi's family, Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty approved the official silver of 64,2 yuan, which took four years to build a forest of steles covering an area of 18 mu in the east of the village. Because of its large scale, the local people called it the "Great Monument Building". There are 4 stele buildings and 16 inscriptions in the forest of steles, and the calligraphy of inscriptions is all from famous artists, including Zeng Guofan, Weng Tonghe, Yang Peizhang, Xu Shichang, Zhao Dong Xie and Li Henian. Among them, Sun Qin 'ang himself has five steles, and the stele building has the highest specifications: the imperial edict stele in the middle, the Erlong playing pearl at the head of the stele, and the stele seat is? Call it "the dragon head turtle"; On the front of the monument, the words "Qin Ci's Second Prize, Senior Minister of General Political Department, Editor of Hanlin Academy, Lecturer of Neigong, Sun Qin 'ang of Fujian Guangquan Yongdao" are engraved, which are elegant and dignified. The forest of steles survived in the early days of liberation and was completely destroyed in the "Cultural Revolution".
Sun Shi's old house is located in the east of Sunzhuang, covering an area of 1-2 mu, which is connected by five complete courtyards. Each courtyard consists of gate → wing → mountain screen → wing → hall → wing → mountain screen → wing → main room → podium. The houses are all blue bricks and tiles, and the main room is on the second floor. At the top of the main building roof, the front ridge is used at the junction of its two ends and the vertical ridge (the kiss is a faucet-shaped decoration, and its image is that the dragon mouth is opened and the front ridge is bitten. There is a fan-shaped sword handle above the kiss), and beasts are also installed on the vertical ridge. * * * There are five ridges and six beasts, which are magnificent and shocking. It is a typical form of official residence in the Central Plains. There are only three main buildings on the second floor, and the rest are demolished and renovated.
Sun Shi's descendants attached great importance to culture, devoted themselves to learning and made many achievements, including experts, professors and doctors.
Two of Sun Hanlin's three remaining old houses, Guo Guilan, were demolished in May 213.
