Li Duo, 1930 was born in Liling, Hunan Province in April. He graduated from Xinyang Infantry School and worked and lived in China People's Revolutionary Military Museum for nearly 60 years. Li Duo studied since he was a child, and visited famous inscriptions of past dynasties, learning from others. Gu Zhuo's unique style of writing is thick, vigorous, tall, straight, generous and fluent, forming the "Li Duo style of writing".
His calligraphy works have a wide range of social influences, such as the golden characters "subway" at the top of the entrances of subway stations in Beijing in the 1970s, the four opening characters at the beginning of CCTV news broadcast in the 1980s and 1990s, and Su Dongpo's huge calligraphy work "Water Turn Around" in the Great Hall of the People.

Li Duo's Personal Honor and Contribution
Li Duo used to be honorary member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, research librarian of China People's Revolutionary Military Museum, dean of China People's Liberation Army Calligraphy Creation Institute, doctoral supervisor of China Academy of Art and consultant of China Calligraphers Association. He used to be a member of the 9th China People's Political Consultative Conference, the 6th National Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the 3rd Vice Chairman of China Calligraphers Association and the consultant of the 4th, 5th and 6th China Calligraphers Association. He was awarded "China Calligraphy Art Special Contribution Award", "Lanting Award Lifetime Achievement Award" and "Eighth Plastic Arts Achievement Award".
In 20 15, 20 17 and 20 19, Li Duo donated works and collections to China People's Revolutionary Military Museum for three times, totaling more than 1 1000 sets, including his personal calligraphy works, practicing calligraphy drafts, collecting calligraphy and painting works, rubbings and seals for his own use. Li Duo believes that only in this way can we make full use of these works and collections and get the best home.
Li Duo, a famous calligrapher on the client side of Jinghua Daily, died of illness, and once wrote the opening words for News Network.
