Wang Wenjie’s honors and achievements

The calligrapher Wang Wenjie was born in Liaoyang, Liaoning Province in 1954.

In 1993, calligrapher Wang Wenjie graduated from the Chinese Department of Shenyang Normal University.

In 1978, calligrapher Wang Wenjie served as the head of the Shenyang reporter station of the "Liberation Army Daily".

In 1978, calligrapher Wang Wenjie served as deputy director of the reporter department, chief reporter, and deputy editor-in-chief of the "Liberation Army Daily".

In 2004, the prose "Song of the Great Wind and Song of Gaixia" won the first prize for prose.

In July 2006, calligrapher Wang Wenjie was promoted to the rank of major general.

In 2009, he authored a collection of essays "Songs of the Great Wind and Songs of Gaixia".

In 2010, calligrapher Wang Wenjie was appointed deputy director of the Political Department of the Lanzhou Military Region.
