This is a poem by Cai Xiang, but the handwriting of Wu Ju, a high-ranking official and great calligrapher, added color to the poem and even spread throughout the ages.
This is one of Wu Ju's few ink writings. The poem "Seven Character Quatrains" comes from Cai Xiang's "Interview with Chen Chushi". It is Wu Ju's only hanging scroll work in large-character running script and is still in existence today. The earliest hanging scroll form of calligraphy ever seen.
