Coincidentally, when Mr. Wang Yunbiao painted the signboard, there were a bunch of children around him, one of whom was Cao Houde, who later became a famous calligrapher in Ningbo. This past event was inadvertently mentioned decades later when Chen Kaihe, the new brand inheritor, came to Mr. Cao Houde to write "To Conscience" for Tanya Dog, which is also a special fate.

The signboard of "Gangya Dog" is still because of Jiang Aguo's kindness and a guest's debt. One day, an old scholar ate several bowls of glutinous rice balls in the shop, and finally had no money to pay the bill, and Jiang Aguo didn't care. The scholar said, look at your shop name, it's a painting. Everyone is not easy to spread. Let me write you a store name. As soon as they discussed it, they took "jar duck dog" as the signboard and adopted the homonym of "Jiang dog" in Ningbo dialect. "Cylinder" is the same as "Jiang" and "Duck" is the same as "A", which is easy to understand and corresponds to the original painting.

"In the middle of the night, I want to eat jiaozi. Don't go to a bowl of food, two bowls and three bowls are addictive. It's not enough to touch the brass cymbals, and the shirt will fall off as a token. " This proverb, which is familiar to many old Ningbo people, is about the history of this century-old shop. Over the past century, jar ducks and dogs have experienced a crisis from prosperity to decline, and even once faced bankruptcy.

Despite their reputation, the management of the ducks and dogs was once in trouble. In 2009, Zhejiang Caidefeng Holdings Co., Ltd. was established and officially took over this golden signboard from Jiang Dingfa's descendants.

"Lard dumplings" has always been the treasure of jars, ducks and dogs, and it has not changed so far. It is precisely because of this golden signboard that all kinds of foreign brands of quick-frozen glutinous rice balls have come out one after another to seize the Ningbo market, which has caused the strange phenomenon of Ningbo glutinous rice balls being made in other places. In order to reverse this situation, the former "Tangyuan King" jar duck and dog also decided to launch a brand-new quick-frozen product on 20 14. "Technically speaking, it is actually very easy to make quick-frozen dumplings. But in the past three years, we have been seeking a balance between tradition and speed. At that time, Jiang Dingfa knew his mother's handicraft by heart, and the choice of raw materials was extremely elegant. Rice noodles are all made of the best white glutinous rice in the area. Chen Kaihe insists that jiaozi, ducks and dogs in every jar should be rubbed by hand, and the temperature of their palms should be kept, instead of completely replacing them with cold machines, although this will increase the huge labor cost burden and lengthen working hours.

Times are changing and tastes are changing. "In the past, people in Ningbo ate glutinous rice balls and liked them sweet and greasy. After improving the formula, it becomes healthy and nutritious.
