My favorite historical figure-Zhao Yun

Zhao Yun is the character that Luo Guanzhong focuses on portraying in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms". He can be called the most perfect heroic image in the book. Zhao Yun was the first person besides Guan Yu and Zhang Fei to follow Liu Bei, so much so that people almost added him to the sworn brothers in Taoyuan. In some Beijing operas, he was simply made into the "Four Generals". From ancient times to the present, many commentators have rated Zhao Yun Zhongyi even more than Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Zhao Yun is brave and resourceful. He can not only consider the long-term interests of Liu Bei Group, but also pay attention to win the hearts and minds of the people. Looking at the history of the Shuhan Group, among the many military generals, no one else has ever spoken out and advised Liu Bei on the fundamental plan like Zhao Yun did. This is another area where Zhao Yun is very knowledgeable. Zhao Yun in history, although he could not crown the heroes in terms of achievements, he had virtues that no one could match. But the famous general Zhao Zilong in the history of the Three Kingdoms Zhao Zilong was a general under Liu Bei during the Three Kingdoms era. When advancing into Sichuan, he was ordered to attack Guiyang City. The defender Zhao Fan was defeated and surrendered the city. Zhao Fan admired Zhao Zilong's bravery and superiority, and he was from the same clan and asked to be sworn brothers. On the day of the marriage, Zhao Fan prepared a banquet to celebrate. When he was half drunk, suddenly a young woman as beautiful as a fairy poured wine for Zhao Zilong. Zhao Zilong asked him who he was. Zhao Fan replied: "She is my sister-in-law, Mrs. Fan. Her brother has just passed away and she has no son. She often advises her to remarry, but so far she has not found anyone who suits her. She also claims that she must be as handsome and famous as the general." Only people from all over the world are willing to marry. It is a coincidence that we meet the general today. If the general does not dislike her, my sister-in-law is willing to serve him for the rest of her life." After hearing this, Zhao Zilong loudly scolded Zhao Fan and said, "Since you and I have become sworn brothers. Brother, your sister-in-law is my sister-in-law, how can you be so incestuous and unjust..." Zhao Fan was so ashamed and embarrassed by Zhao Zilong's stern words. Zhao Zilong left the table angrily. His righteousness was greatly appreciated. The world admires him. Zhao Zilong helped Liu Bei conquer Sichuan and made many extraordinary achievements. After establishing the Kingdom of Shu, he was named one of the Five Tiger Generals and became famous all over the world. Later generations wrote poems praising Zhao Yun: Although he did not recognize his sworn brother, he imitated Guan Gong and held the candle. Although Zhao Yun was actually one of only twelve ministers of the Shu Han Dynasty who were given posthumous titles during the Three Kingdoms period, his reputation was far inferior to the other eleven ministers. Throughout his life, his performance was ordinary and ordinary. Even after the five generals Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Ma Chao, Pang Tong, and Huang Zhong were posthumously posthumous, Zhao Yun was not included. Although Zhao Yun almost died of illness as a loser in the political struggle in the end, he had followed Liu Bei for many years and had hard work without any credit. In addition, he had saved Liu Chan from the rebellion, and he had always been grateful to the latter. Therefore, many years after his death, in March of the fourth year of Jingyao before the fall of the Shu Han Dynasty, Liu Chan finally issued an edict to posthumously honor him as Shunping Hou. In fact, if you look at the posthumous title given to Zhao Yun, you can roughly understand the conclusion about his so-called coffin: "A person who is gentle, virtuous and kind is said to be obedient, a deacon has a class and is said to be peaceful, and a person who controls disaster is said to be peaceful." In other words, Zhao Yun won this honor not mainly based on his military exploits. It is precisely because of his lack of merit that he became the last batch of Shu Han generals to pursue posthumous titles. Public opinion at that time believed that Zhao Yun had saved Liu Chan and should be given a posthumous title. In the end, he became the last minister among the twelve ministers to be given a posthumous title.
