Creation background
Young Shen Fu traveled with his father and entered the official school. After his youth, he experienced ups and downs and worked as a businessman in middle age, so he traveled a lot in his life. In the 13th year of Jiaqing (1808), Qi Kun went to Ryukyu with imperial academy to attend the ceremony of conferring the Ryukyu King, and returned to China in October. During this period, he created Six Chapters of a Floating Life. Children's Fun is one of the second volumes of Leisure Fun, which recalls the interesting life of childhood and expresses the fun of childhood life.
Brief introduction of the author
Shen Fu (1763- 1825), whose real name is Yimei, was born in Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu) in the 28th year of Qing Qianlong. Famous litterateurs in Qing Dynasty. He is the author of Six Chapters of a Floating Life and Leisure and Interest. He was born in a family of aides and aides, never took the imperial examination, and once made a living by selling paintings. Forty-two years after Qianlong (1777), he went to Shaoxing, Zhejiang to study with his father.
In the forty-nine years of Qianlong (1784), Emperor Qianlong went to the south of the Yangtze River, and Shen Fu followed his father to meet him. Later, he came to Suzhou to engage in wine industry. He has a very good relationship with his wife, Chen Yun. Due to family changes, the husband and wife have been living in other places and have experienced ups and downs.
