Palace of love
Tang Dynasty: Bai Juyi
Sitting in Shixi, looking for flowers around the temple.
I always smell birds. It's spring everywhere.
Translation:
Enjoy the grotesque rocks by the stream, and the fragrance of flowers is refreshing in the breeze. Looking around, I didn't know where the flowers were, so I walked around the temple looking for flowers all the way.
The birds are singing beautifully and the streams are gurgling.
Extended data:
Love Temple is a five-character quatrain written by Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. This is a short lyric poem. The whole poem is static and dynamic, changing scenery. It depicts the vitality and beauty of the love temple by making stones in the west of the forest, looking for flowers around the temple, listening to birds singing and listening to the sound of running water, and shows the poet's love for nature through actions such as "getting", "seeking" and "walking".
The ancients did not pursue the luxury and spaciousness of the study, but they were quite particular about the environment. Take "Xiangjixuan" as an example. It is a century-old house with a door facing north and leaking rain. Gui Youguang doesn't mind its size, but he doesn't want to deal with the surrounding environment at all. He planted orchids, sweet-scented osmanthus and bamboo in the courtyard, and transformed the external environment of the study into a very elegant one: "On the fifth night of March, the moon is half full, the laurel shadow is mottled, the wind is moving, and it is lovely."
Bai Juyi's "Caotang" was built in the scenic Lushan Mountain, which is located between the censer peak and the Ai Yi Temple. "It has excellent scenery and is also Lushan Mountain." In addition to Liu Yuxi's "Humble Room", it is also "the moss on the stage is green, and the grass in the curtain is green."
