With a phone call from my classmate Wang Cheng, he urged me to catch up with him in his car, carry a pot and bucket, and go to the mountains to collect springs together. This was the daily life of several of our old classmates after they retired.
Yes, after living in retreat for a long time, I like every day in the mountains and the subtle life scenes in the mountains. Even the air in the mountains and the flowing springs in the mountain streams are so subtle and pleasant to the eyes. I gradually like and get used to the days of brewing tea in this mountain spring and dreaming about it. It is not only a kind of fate, but also a lifelong destiny.
Lushan has many springs and has long been famous. The Gulian Spring in Kangwang Valley originates from the foot of Hanyang Peak. It flows in one stream and is divided into two waterfalls. To the east is the Xianglu Waterfall and to the south is the Gulian Jade Spring. None of the waterfalls or springs escaped the eyes of the Tang people. Li Taibai looked at the Xianglu Waterfall in the distance and couldn't help but exclaimed, "The water flowing down three thousand feet is like the Milky Way falling in the sky." Lu Hongjian, who was cooking tea from the spring on a moonlit night, insisted that the water used to cook tea was regarded as "the best spring in the world." Therefore, the label of "unparalleled dream in the world, the best spring in the world" is equated with Lushan's past and is inseparable. Standing under the Gulian Spring, the smoke is blurred all year round, like snow and rain, and a ray of sunshine passes through, creating colorful and colorful flowers. Where there are rapids, there is a roaring sound, and where there is a small stream, there is a trickle like a drop of water. Every drop of water is crystal clear, flying gold and jade, big beads and small beads falling on the jade plate, making you dazzled and deaf, and suddenly the beads gather into a stream, rushing forward and rushing away. Tens of meters ahead from the Taohuayuan Management Office, there is a cliff with three large characters "Gulianquan" written in official script, inscribed by Zhu Yuanhui of the Song Dynasty. According to experts, the original carving was at the foot of the first spring, but it was moved here by later generations. Under the edge of the cliff, there is a spring like a line, which goes on day and night. Lao Jiu from the management office found two water pipes, one long and one short, one thick and one thin. Pedestrians passing by always like to stop and watch. I came here several times to draw water. Let the water trickle into the pot. Standing aside, you can smell the sweet and refreshing mountain spring. I quietly watched the mountain spring flowing in lines into the pot. The water level continued to rise bit by bit along the wall. It slowly approached the mouth of the pot. When it was full, it escaped. I habitually closed the faucet again. After searching for a long time, I found it. There is no faucet configuration, so I can’t help but laugh. I had no choice but to let the mountain spring flow freely and merge into the stream. I thought, the mountains are too luxurious and the spring flow is too wasteful.
The Guanyin Bridge under Taiyi Peak is also a famous tourist attraction in Lushan Mountain. Guanyin Bridge was built in the Xining period of the Song Dynasty and has been over a thousand years. It is a famous ancient stone arch bridge in the history of our country. There is a clear spring at the head of the bridge that has never dried up for thousands of years. Regardless of spring and autumn, there is no return to cold or heat. The spring water in the gaps between the stone walls is like a spring. The eternal machine gurgls all the year round. Later generations built a stone pavilion on the wall, with a Tang Dynasty inscription "The Sixth Spring in the World" engraved on it. As for Yulian Spring, Bingyu Spring, Lingxiu Spring, Clever Spring, Shengze Spring, Pearl Spring, Yiyiquan, Feixi Spring, Luduan Spring, Guanyin Spring, Xingjiu Spring, Wolong Spring, Shuangpu Spring, Fragrant Spring, Xingquan, Churen Spring, Jiuqi Spring, Dishui Spring, Yuye Spring, Yujing Spring and so on are too numerous to mention. Together with the famous and unnamed springs in the mountain, they form a grand view of Mount Lu’s water springs, bringing endless coolness and tranquility to the local people and scribes all year round. Solace in a cup.
Experts from the Chinese Tea Culture Research Association tested the water quality in the First Spring, Sixth Spring and other places here, and concluded that the water in many springs in the south of Mount Lu is neutral, with about 100% dissolved in each liter of water. It contains about 70 mg of calcium sulfate, so it has a sweet taste. The mineral content of the water is low, with a salinity of only about 134 mg per liter of water. The hardness is low and it is soft water. The water body is clean, transparent and colorless, the water temperature remains unchanged in all seasons, and the flow rate is stable. It is high-quality drinking water in mountain springs, and it is also suitable for tea. Experts also believe that many springs in Shannan meet the standards of good springs with active spring sources, clear spring quality, sweet spring taste, cool spring temperature and light spring quality. Therefore, using such mountain spring water to make tea is truly a unique product in the world and extremely valuable.
After getting used to the days of cooking tea from mountain springs, the taste has become tricky and sensitive, and the requirements for water quality have almost become a habitual harshness. Once I was drinking tea with a few friends in Qingcheng City, Qingdao. During the process of smelling the tea, my nose began to appreciate the fragrance of the water through the fragrance of the tea leaves. I smiled and said, this water is good, not well water, nor lake water. The owner smiled and said, what kind of water do you think it is? I pondered a little and said, it should be mountain spring water. The owner was surprised, he had a good nose, he could recognize the smell of water without paying for it, and when he tasted the tea, he still felt the fragrance of the spring. He admired it, admired it, it was the mountain spring that I went to drink at the foot of Hanyang Peak every week. One sentence made everyone burst into laughter.
The self-written couplet written by Zeng Xuanzhi in Lin Dafo’s studio in Donglin, Lushan, attracted a lot of heated discussion from visitors. Of course, it was not about my calligraphy, but that the couplet was interesting. "Taking tea from the spring is enough to cook, and looking at the stone and inkstone makes me want to speak."
People who play with inkstones have a deep understanding of their own inkstones. Needless to say, Shi Buyan is the most lovely person. What's more, between the cups and cups, I feel quite confident and proud of the mountain spring water for brewing tea. With every move, between the anger and the smile, the pride and self-sufficiency are hard to hide, but it is self-evident. . Yes, maybe it’s the fate of fate and the place that awaits us, or maybe it’s our cultivation in past and present lives, which allows us to enjoy the tranquility in the mountains and coolness by the water alone, and we feel that this life is not in vain.
Five or six kilometers north of Yanren Thatched Cottage is the famous Bailudong Academy. The academy is surrounded by mountains and has a flowing water. It is an excellent place for studying and cultivating. Over the past one thousand years, many scholars and scholars have emerged from the academies, and they have become the pillars of the imperial court. There is a mountain spring at the entrance of the academy, which grows between the cliffs. It is said that Zhu Xi discovered and excavated this spring and became the "source of living water" for the students of the academy. The academy has always protected this spring, and the locals also regard it as a spring. It is regarded as a spiritual enlightenment for scholars. After drinking it, the spiritual platform will be clear and the writing will be like a fountain. I am stupid, but I often draw tea from the spring, and even cook rice and soup. There is a poem to prove it: In the afternoon, Bailu Academy drew water and made some works.
It has been more than a month since I was idle in Donggao, and there are no birds or branches in the thatched cottage.
The lingering dreams at the noon window return to the clouds, while water is drawn to make tea and boil.
However, I drink from this spring, not seeking fame or fortune, but just to enjoy some leisure after retreating to do nothing.
Get up early every day, boil water, clear the cup, make tea, and watch the light smoke linger and the water vapor. Boil water in the iron kettle and make a sizzling sound. Open the tea can gently, break down the tea powder, smell the aroma of tea, and identify the color of tea. The impulse and sound of making tea in a pot, the first ray of morning light shining through the window and shaking the water temperature in the cup, the color of the soup, green, golden, orange-brown, a fine purple clay pot, blue and white cups, linen clothes and plain clothes, sitting cross-legged on a mat, eyes like Slightly closed, the eyes are far away. The walls are covered with books, inkstones or posters. Outside the window, the flowers are fragrant and the birds are chirping. The spring light is like leaking out. In front of the door is a couplet: "It is wonderful to sit here and watch the audience. Sit quietly to attract the harmony of heaven."
With a cup in hand, a book unrolled, a few lines of text read, and thoughts passed away.
