the cliff of Shengjing Mountain is located on a mountain ridge of Shengjing Mountain, 45 meters north of West Yucun Village, Gejia Town, Wendeng City. There are two huge stones standing on the mountain ridge, one in the east is 5 meters high and 15.6 meters long, which is like a crescent moon, commonly known as the moon bud stone. Its dark side fluctuates with the stone, and the upper and lower volumes of Taishang Laozi's Tao Te Ching are engraved in intaglio. The size of each word in the full text is about 6 cm, in regular script. Part of the lettering has been blurred due to rain erosion and weathering, and most of it can still be read (see the hinge). The other stone is 3 meters west of Yueya Stone, with a height of 3 meters and a length of 4.5 meters. The words "Holy Mountain" are engraved in the middle and upper part, and there is a piece of text engraved below, about 7, which is completely unrecognizable.
2m southeast of Yueyashi, there is a Xiaoshi Temple "Hunyuan Temple", which is 6m long and 2m high. It was bombed during the Cultural Revolution and has been restored. It contains Yuanbei and Laozi statues. There are ear temples on both sides of the stone temple, and "cave heaven" and "blessed land" are carved on the boulder about 5 meters southeast and northwest, each word is about 7 cm in size. There is a cave on the stone wall slightly south of the inscription "Cave in Heaven". The "Wendeng County Records" contains: "Yuan Dade Renyin (132), Li Daoyuan opened a cave, which is called Chaoyang Cave". There is a row of five stone tombs in the west of the "blessed land" stone carving, and the books "the graves of the immortals" and "I don't know how to feel" are engraved on the stones.
There is a hill 2 kilometers southeast of Shengjing Mountain, which is called Zijinfeng. There are two huge rocks in front of the peak. A jade platform is built on one of the huge rocks, and the Jade Emperor Pavilion is built on the platform. Now the pavilion has collapsed, leaving only four carved dragons. On the east side of another giant rock, the word "Tianmen" is carved, each word is about 1 meter, which is vigorous and powerful. On the south side, there is an artificially dug cave with the inscription "Donghua Cave", which was also opened by Li Daoyuan.
Donghua Palace is also built in the flat area under Zijin Peak. In Wendeng County Records, it is recorded that in the 22nd year of Jin Dading, Ma Danyang (one of the seven real people on the sea in Quanzhen Road) celebrated his birthday, and this cave is also a blessed place, so he created a contract to meet an nunnery under the white jade platform. Danyang once again took the front of Zijin Peak as the old residence of Donghua Emperor, an ancient immortal, and re-established the temple, called Donghua Palace. " The original Donghua Palace Pavilion was magnificent with many steles, which were destroyed in the middle and late Ming Dynasty. Now the stele is broken, leaving only the remnant stele and the stone lion. Donghua stele is a calligrapher Zhao Meng _ seal in Yuan Dynasty, and the remains of its head are still there.
Kunyu Mountain is the venue for the rise and main activities of Quanzhen Daoism. Shengjing Mountain and Zijin Peak on its east side belong to the branch of Kunyu Mountain. Ma Danyang, one of the seven real people of Quanzhen Daoism, once lived in Zijinfeng, but his disciples stayed here for a long time. It can be inferred that the stone carving of Tao Te Ching by the Holy Mountain was done by Quanzhen Taoist in Yuan Dynasty. Due to the long-term weathering, many inscriptions have been eroded and difficult to distinguish. In order to preserve this precious Taoist historical data, the cultural relics department of Shandong Province organized manpower to carry out rubbing and preservation of the cliff stone carvings of Shengjing Mountain. After successfully declared as a national protection unit, the rescue protection plan of the cliff of Shengjing Mountain was formulated, which provided an important basis for the scientific protection and utilization of the cliff of Shengjing Mountain.
in November p>198, it was listed as a county-level cultural relics protection unit. In September 1988, it was upgraded to a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit with the stone carving of Laozi Daodejing in Shengjingshan (with Donghua Palace stone archway attached). In June 1992, it was upgraded to a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit with the stone carving of Cliff in Shengjingshan.
in June, 26, it was upgraded to the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units under the name of "Cliff of the Holy Mountain".
