Life of Characters
Shaanxi People's Fine Arts Publishing House. He received court training at a young age and studied painting in the pond with his grandfather Mr. Shaohe, determined to pursue art. After graduating from Kaifeng Art School in 1951, he stayed at the school to study for graduate school. Graduated from the Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1955. He has successively served as editor, editorial director, deputy editor-in-chief, and editor-reviewer of Shaanxi People's Fine Arts Publishing House. Vice Chairman of Shaanxi Artists Association. The work "Good News for a Good Harvest Year" won the third prize in the National New Year Painting Award. He has won the National Outstanding Book Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award, etc. His publications include "Chinese Sculptures of the Ancient Dynasties: Qin Terracotta Warriors", "Xi'an, the Thousand-Year Ancient Capital", "Luochuan Folk Art", etc. Experts who have made outstanding contributions to the country receive special government subsidies.
Unfortunately, he passed away at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University at 9:40 am on October 29, 2010 at the age of 78.

Main Achievements
Comrade Zou Zongxu has made remarkable achievements in his fifty years of work. He has published a large number of New Year pictures, promotional posters and large, medium and small picture albums, among which "Grand Agricultural Harvest" was selected into the Chinese Modern The exhibition of art works was used as the cover of "People's Pictorial"; the binding design of "Chinese Loess" won the 1980 National Award for Outstanding Works in Book Binding Art. The album "Xi'an, the Ancient Capital of Thousand Years" edited by him won the Hong Kong Best Book Award, the Bronze Award for China's Excellent Art Books, and the second prize of the 2nd Yellow River Golden Bull Award for Art Books in 1990; Mr. Yu Youren's "Thousand Words" edited and published by him "Wen", "Song of Righteousness", and "Couplet Series 1 and 2" pioneered the publication of Beard Man's calligraphy in mainland China after liberation.
Comrade Zou Zongxu also has certain research on seal cutting and calligraphy. He once initiated the establishment of Zhongnan Seal Society with friends in the seal cutting world, and edited and published "Chang'an Scenic Spot Seal Book", "Silk Road", "Heart Stele", " Twelve Guqin Families" Chang'an Yin Cong series of books. He was invited to visit Japan in 1986 for calligraphy art exchanges. In 2008, he participated in the 2008 Olympic Art Conference as a special representative, and his work "Red Mountain Flowers" was honored in the 2008 Olympic Art Hall.
