Wang Yu Temple was built in the second year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1523), covering an area of about 1830 square meters. Because Kaifeng was flooded by the Yellow River many times, Wang Yu Temple was built to commemorate Dayu's achievements in water control. The statue of Yu Wang, which was carved in Daxiong Hall in the Ming Dynasty, no longer exists. The statue of the Hall of the Great Hero was rebuilt in 1982, with a height of 1.6 meters, laurel in both hands and a dragon robe. It is magnificent and solemn. There are brick murals on the east and west walls, a map of Dayu's water control in the east and a map of Dayu's cultivation in the west, which reflects Dayu's achievements in water control. The north wall of the main hall is inlaid with a stone tablet carved by Liu Shushang, governor of Henan Province during Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. Unique handwriting and font are cherished by calligraphy lovers. On the west gallery hill in the main hall, there are two stone carvings left by Henan Agricultural and Forestry Experimental Field.
The Memorial Park for the Martyrs of the Revolution of 1911 is located in the southwest corner of the apple orchard in the north of Yuwangtai Park, covering an area of about 3,654 square meters, including the bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen and the tomb of the martyrs of the Revolution of 1911. The bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen was erected in 1929 when Feng Yuxiang was in charge of Henan Province, and it was1.96m high. It used to be in the south of Gao Tai, Long Ting (in front of the platform), and later it moved here. The tomb of the martyrs of the Revolution of 1911 is a solemn bluestone tomb. After the victory of Wuchang Uprising, the people of Henan, with Kaifeng as the center, responded positively, and Zhang Zhongduan, a member of the League, prepared for an armed uprising. Due to leaks, people like Zhong Zhang Duan 1 1 were suppressed by the Qing court and died heroically. The remains of martyrs were moved to Kaifeng Nanguan 1934. Because Yuwangtai was the free activity center of the League members at that time, it was moved and buried here on 198 1 and named the tomb of the Xinhai Martyrs. In addition, there are scenic pavilions, theaters, gardens, Gehua galleries, squares, electric planes, comprehensive large slides and other entertainment facilities inside and outside the park. The whole park is luxuriant in flowers and trees, layered with exquisite layout and elegant environment.
