Zhou Ling's Cognitive Awakening

Metacognition: Being able to know and understand one's own "thinking process".

This is a turning point from active metacognition to passive metacognition. When a person can take the initiative to open the third perspective and start to constantly reflect on his own thinking and behavior, it means that he really begins to wake up and he has the possibility of rapid growth.

On the other hand: you can realize what you are thinking, and then realize whether these ideas are wise, and then further correct those unwise ideas, and finally make a better choice from the beginning.

Meditation: Just sit quietly somewhere, then relax and concentrate on breathing and feeling.

A prominent manifestation of strong metacognitive ability is: zero tolerance for fuzziness. In other words, do everything possible to find the most important and unique option, so that there is only one way to go in a certain period of time.

Anxious people like to touch themselves with saturated actions, and even don't want to spend a little time thinking deeply, so that their instinctive desires are lost in self-satisfaction actions.

Gorky once said: Every time you restrain yourself, it means that you are stronger than before.

Use perceptual ability to help you choose first, and then use rational ability to help you think, so that you can be in the "stretching zone" of learning.

Reading method: Take only one point that touches you most in the whole book, and then practice and change as much as possible. Reading in this way not only gains more, but also avoids anxiety. Subconscious sensibility can always help us find something that really suits us.

Find a goal in life by feeling, and the goal is a place to store enthusiasm and energy. The real awakened one often replaces thinking with perception consciously or unconsciously. The correct answer is often altruistic, because the real long-term meaning and happiness of life can only be obtained from other people's feedback.

The key to the integration of body and mind is not only to focus on the present, but also to enjoy the present.

In deliberate practice, genius = the right method+a lot of practice.

Among them, the "correct method" has the following four characteristics: ① having a clear goal; ② Extreme concentration during practice; ③ Effective feedback can be obtained; ④ Be sure to practice in the stretching area.
