The architectural structure of Tianshi Mansion

The mansion gate (i.e. the head gate) stands near the stream, with the small streets of the ancient town crossing it from east to west. It is five rooms wide, about 200 square meters, and 2 feet high. It has more than a dozen large wooden pillars and six doors with three doors. On the main gate, directly above the middle gate hangs a plaque reading "Sihan Tianshi Mansion", which is dazzling with golden light. There are couplets hanging on the two pillars in the front and center with gold characters on a black background. The upper couplet reads "The Immortal Visitor from Qilin Hall" and the lower couplet reads "The Prime Minister's Home in Longhu Mountain". There is a large drum on the east side, named "Tongbao Drum". Between the east and west walls in front of the door there are stone carvings of "Tao Zun" and "Degui" (no longer exist today). The building is majestic and impressive.

From the Yimen (destroyed), you can enter the stone corridor at the head gate for more than 300 steps, and go directly to the lobby through the second door. A stone square was built across the corridor twenty steps from the entrance gate, with the word "Yimen" written on it. According to legend, civil and military generals stopped their sedans and dismounted here.

The second gate is one hundred and twenty steps away from the first gate. It was built in the fourth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1865) and has been restored. It has three rooms in width, three rooms in depth, and one east and west wing rooms respectively, with a total area of ??160 square meters. It is three feet shorter than the Toumen Gate, with red walls and green tiles, and ridged beasts soaring. There are twelve large wooden pillars with six doors and three doors. On the doors are painted six statues of Qin Qiong, Yuchi Gong, Yang Lin, Luo Cheng, Cheng Yaojin and Shan Xiongxin as three pairs of door gods. There is a vertical plaque hanging on the upper end of the middle door, with three gold characters "Edict" written in gold: the first two columns are hung with black background gold characters holding the pillar couplets, the upper couplet "The road is high, the dragon and the tiger lurk", and the lower couplet "Ghosts and gods are important in virtue". Eighteen kinds of ancient weapons, shining with gold and silver, were lined up on both sides, looking very majestic.

In front of the second gate, there is the Xuantan Hall in the east, and the Fazhuan Office and the Tiju Office in the west (both are destroyed and need to be built).

There is a large courtyard after entering the second gate. There are more than ten camphor trees in the courtyard, with lush branches and leaves, very green. The 9,000-jin bronze bell cast in the 11th year of the Yuan Dynasty was moved from the Taishang Qing Palace to the courtyard (to be built as a bell and drum tower) in 1979 for appreciation. The large stone stele handwritten by Zhao Mengfu, a calligrapher of the Yuan Dynasty, was also moved under the ancient camphor for study. In the center of the corridor leading from the second door to the lobby, there is a well dug, which is two feet and seven feet deep. It is said that it was built by Bai Yuchan, a Taoist priest in the Southern Song Dynasty, in accordance with the decree of Master Tian. Name: "Dan Well" on the first day, "Lingquan Well" on the second day, and "Fashui Well" on the third day. There are tea tasting pavilions and canteens on both sides of the two doors in the courtyard. The lobby was built in the twelfth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1873). The lobby is where the Heavenly Master implements Taoism. It is 81 steps away from the "Nine-Nine" gate of the second gate, and is adjacent to the private courtyard gate at the back. It is five rooms wide, about 300 square meters, and is two feet shorter than the first gate and shorter than the second gate. The door is one foot high, with three red walls. There is a "Sai Shen Pavilion" built in front of the door. The back door of the hall leads directly to the Three Provinces Hall. Directly above the middle hall hangs the plaque of "Bicheng" written by Emperor Kangxi in the 17th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign and the "Education" given by Emperor Qianlong in the seventh year of Emperor Qianlong's reign. There is one plaque each for "Yanzongzhuan". The hall originally contained a dharma platform, order flags, ink pens, weapons, half a pair of luanjia given by the emperor, and a statue of Qilin Tuzu Celestial Master, etc., which has a sense of the power of the public hall. The private hall is the celestial master of all dynasties. The residence, named "Sanshengtang", is of Jiangnan courtyard style and was built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The courtyard gate beam records: "It was built in the sixth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty." This building has been restored with oil paintings and is the main body of the Tianshi Mansion. , with an area of ??about 2,000 square meters, is divided into front, back and middle halls, east and west corridors, and front and left wing rooms with flowered walls. It is integrated with the back garden and the imperial book pavilion. There is a couplet, the first couplet is "Unparalleled Land in the South" and the second couplet is "The First Family in Xijiang". There is a giant painting of "Crane, Deer and Hummingbird" hidden in the courtyard gate, which symbolizes the high official's salary and the prime minister's family status. Three provinces hall, three provinces, three halls in the front and back: the front hall is the living room, five rooms wide, three bright and two dark, four pillars extending forward, five stone steps, open the door, east and west flower railings, each with steps, there is a green garden on the ground in front of the hall The stone is named "Zhasong Stone". The middle hall (also known as the Fox Immortal Hall) is said to be where the Celestial Master worships the "Fox Immortal". The hall is equipped with offering tables, altars, everlasting lamps and other artifacts. The front is connected to the front hall by a gutter, and is separated by a brick wall and stone door. The back hall is connected to the front hall and the front door. There are four large golden characters written on it: "Tao Zi Qingxu". The east and west gates are divided into "Zi Qi" and "Golden Light", each with its own inscription.

Back hall: The back hall is the living room of Tianshi. It has five rooms in width and is used for four rooms, a banquet hall, a patio in the front and a courtyard in the back, and upstairs in the east and west wing rooms. , the wing room is connected to the central hall, ten pillars are clearly visible around the patio, the doors and windows are exquisitely carved, a large goldfish tank is placed in the center, and there are rockeries on both sides. The banquet hall is furnished in Qing Dynasty style, with famous paintings and poems on the four walls. A black-bottomed lace plaque with gold characters hangs directly above the nave, with the inscription "Chun Yong Chun Yong" written on it. It is said to be a birthday plaque given by Yuan Shikai to the 61st generation Celestial Master on his 60th birthday. There is a plaque "Fu Bei Ji Chou" hanging above the front of the hall, which is said to be a gift from Xu Fu, the number one scholar in the Qing Dynasty.

Lingzhi Garden: Going along the east and west doors of the back hall is the Bagua Gate of the Ganoderma Garden. There is a picture of "Two Dragons Playing with Pearls" above the door. The craftsmanship is exquisite and the viewers are constantly amazed. There is a couplet written on the wall, which reads: "The Bagua covers the universe, and the two dragons guard the universe." Ganoderma lucidum garden is not large, it is a small courtyard, where the Celestial Master walks in his inner chamber. There are exotic flowers and herbs, including golden osmanthus and silver osmanthus, which are fragrant all year round. There are small side rooms on both sides, which were originally used as accommodation for maids and servants, but are now used as exhibition rooms for pictures and materials.

Chishu Pavilion is connected to the Ganoderma Garden in the front and the Summer Palace in the back. It is the last building in the entire private building area. This was originally the place where Zhang Tianshi stored scriptures and collected books (it no longer exists today).

The observatory is built on the top of the adjacent roof outside the west wall of the back hall of the private house. It can be reached by climbing the stairs from the west wing of the back hall and passing through the wall. The building is simple and has bright windows on three sides. It is the place where Zhang Tianshi observes the Southern Stars and the Big Dipper and determines the secrets of the heavens.

Wanfa Zongtan; In the second courtyard, to the west of the private house and connected to the quadrangle of Area 1 is Wanfa Zongtan, the place where "all gods gather". Now it has been restored, with red walls and green tiles, paint and carvings, and ridged beasts taking off. There is a plaque "Wanfa Zongtan" hanging on the door. The courtyard is about 1,200 square meters and has three palaces: five main halls, standing in the middle towards the courtyard gate, and a large "Nine Dragons and Three Legs" incense burning cauldron in front of the steps, two on the east and west. The temple is built facing each other. The main hall is the "Sanqing Hall". The original hall enshrined 138 gods, gods, soldiers and generals. Now there are sculptures of "Three Pure Ones", "Four Imperial Guards", "Three Officials" and "Three Officials". "Three" (i.e., the first generation of Celestial Master Zhang Daoling, the 30th generation of Celestial Master Zhang Jixian, and the 43rd generation of Celestial Master Zhang Yuchu) have thirteen statues for worship. On the east side is the "Lingguan Hall", which has a statue of Wang Lingguan (also known as Wang Shan) stepping on a fireball, holding his fingers and raising a whip, with a red face and a long beard, a golden robe and a green belt (for the Taoist protector god). On the west side is the "Xuantan Hall", which has a statue of Zhao Xuantan (also known as Zhao Gongming) with a black face and long beard, handsome robe and golden armor, riding a tiger and raising a whip (Taoism regards him as the God of Wealth). The courtyard has cross corridors, rare flowers and trees, evergreen pines and cypresses, and two thousand-year-old Podocarpus pine trees, one male and one female, with intertwined roots and lush green leaves. They are juxtaposed with peaks and crowns. They are rare and rare, making the courtyard of Wanfa Zongtan look particularly solemn. majesty.

To the west of the back hall of the private house, there is a group of houses with a simple appearance, about 500 square meters, in the form of a connecting hall and three entrances, connected by gutters and patios. The building layout is compact and consists of private houses. Enter the back hall through the west corridor and enter through the arch. There is a forehead block in the shape of a flying flag on the stone of the arch, with three small, inconspicuous characters "Heng Jin Liang" chiselled on it. There are three halls in the front and back, each with three rooms. There is a hall in the middle and ten rooms in the east and west. The back hall is regarded as the main hall, with a corridor patio in the front and a gutter in the back. The back door of the gutter leads to the flower pond and the cool house. There are no calligraphy and painting couplets, only a plaque "To observe his ambition" hangs above the back hall.

The Baihua Pond is located at the west end of the mansion, with a water surface of about 2,000 square meters. The pond is surrounded by exotic flowers and plants. In summer, the pond is full of lotus flowers in full bloom. The water is green, with fragrant fish swinging their tails. Weeping willows, curved bridges and pavilions in the middle of the lake ( Pavilion to be built). On the south bank of the pool, there are thick shades of ancient trees, white cranes are circling, and hundreds of birds are singing.

The Cool Room is built on the bank of the Baihua Pond, with four bays facing it, leaning against the wall and facing the water. On the forehead of the door is the word "Lang Room" written on it. This is the place where Master Zhang drank tea, enjoyed the cool air, and watched flowers and the moon. It has been restored and is now available for tourists to enjoy tea and cool down.

Weifu Bookstore is located in the east of the private house. There was a family temple in front of it (destroyed). The bookstore is a courtyard style. It was built in the 20th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1894). It is about 800 square meters wide and divided into front and rear. After entering the second room, there is a main house with a floor, a patio in the middle and two wings. In front of the door, Lao Gui leans against the wall, dancing and dancing. There is a pair of official calligraphy couplets chiselled on the stone gate. The first couplet is "Pan cinnamon is spreading and the celery is coming", and the second couplet is "The red flowers are blooming and you can climb the fence". The back door of the bookstore faces Xihua Mountain in the distance and is close to the water in the pool. On the forehead of the door are the words "Show Connects to Hengyang".
