What are the most promising posts in calligraphy?

It depends on what font you want to practice. It's best to start with official script, because it's much easier than regular script, so don't be influenced by secular prejudice. The official script copybooks "Yi Ying Bei", "Cao Quanbei", "Shi Chenbei" and "Li Bei" are all good entry choices, among which "Ode to Shimen" is the best official script, but it is suggested that official script should start later and it will take some time to appreciate that charm. I think it's better to start with the pagoda monument and diligent monument in Yan Zhenqing, and the mysterious pagoda monument and toilet god monument in Liu Gongquan are also very good, as well as those in Ou Yangxun and Zhao Mengfu. I suggest starting with Yan and Liu. The preface to Lanting written by Wang Xizhi is very good, but the running script is difficult for beginners and needs a good foundation.
