There is no such division in the art colleges where art students apply. The prestigious art colleges in China are:
Central Academy of Fine Arts: It has majors in oil painting, Chinese painting, printmaking, fine arts, animation, plane, sculpture and architecture.
China Academy of Fine Arts: Chinese painting, calligraphy, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, media design, comprehensive painting, environmental art, plane, clothing, art architecture, art, animation and other majors.
Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts: It has majors of teaching environmental art, industry, plane, clothing, animation, oil painting, Chinese painting and sculpture.
Sichuan fine arts institute: There are majors in oil painting, printmaking, Chinese painting, watercolor, sculpture, plane and so on.
Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts: It has majors such as oil painting, color painting, graphic design, environmental art, fine arts architecture and clothing.
Xi Academy of Fine Arts: It has specialties such as Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture, fine arts, fine arts architecture and animation.
Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts: Chinese painting, printmaking, oil painting and other majors.
Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts: It has majors such as oil painting, sculpture and printmaking.
Hubei Academy of Fine Arts: There are printmaking, watercolor and other majors.
Academy of Fine Arts refers to an artist group organized for various purposes, such as promoting the development of national art, cultivating artists, holding regular exhibitions and awarding honorary members.
There are eight independent professional fine arts institutions in China, namely, Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Fine Arts, Xi Academy of Fine Arts, sichuan fine arts institute Academy of Fine Arts, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Hubei Academy of Fine Arts and Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, which are often referred to as the "Eight Fine Arts Institutes".
There are also Shandong Academy of Arts and Crafts, Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts and other artistic colleges. Among them, Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Fine Arts and Xi Academy of Fine Arts have doctoral degrees.
