Talk about how to master the speed and skills of the good luck pen

Hard-pen writing method:

Biography refers to writing perfect strokes through the movement of the pen tip. When using the pen, pay attention to the coordination of finger movement and wrist movement. The so-called wrist movement means that the wrist swings left and right, up and down according to the needs of the strokes. The amplitude depends on the size of the characters being written. The larger the characters are, the wider the swing will be, and the smaller the characters will be, the smaller the swing will be. Compared with calligraphy with a brush, the movement of the wrist in hard-pen calligraphy is much smaller, and sometimes it is not even obvious, but in fact each stroke is completed. Up and down, back and forth, there are movements of the wrist. Because the palm of the hand is attached to the paper when writing, the fingers alone cannot move flexibly and freely. This requires the fingers and the wrist to cooperate with each other and move at the same time. The movement of the wrist drives the movement of the fingers, and the fingers then drive the pen in the hand. Only by cooperating with the movements of the fingers and the tone can vivid and lively hand-written characters be written.

When writing, you need to pay attention to the presses, pauses and turns, and the speed. Only when every point of the painting has changes in reality and reality can it be artistic. Otherwise, if you draw a straight line, the stippling will look dull and lifeless.

The so-called "lifting the pen" means gradually lifting the pen from the paper, and the handwriting will change from thick to thin, and from thin to none. Pressing the pen means that the pen is gradually pressed down on the paper, so that the handwriting changes from thin to thick. Generally, lifting and pressing are often completed in the same stroke. For example, the oblique writing method is to press first and then lift, so as to achieve the effect of a thick stroke on the upper right and a thin stroke on the lower left. To pause the stroke is to pause the stroke on the basis of pressing the stroke to make a certain part of the stipple painting round and powerful.

Painting strokes are widely used in hard-pen calligraphy, and are often reflected in the starting and ending of strokes or at the hooks and twists. Frustration refers to a rapid and powerful movement method to change the direction of the pen. It is often used together with the pen stroke, which is called "pen stroke". For example, when drawing hooks, you need to use a pen. When writing the hook, first pause and then fall, and the direction of the pen tip is from the front to the back, so as to achieve the effect of getting ready to jump out (just like playing football, when you take your foot back slightly and then kick it out, you will be strong and powerful).

If there is no preparation for changing the pen, the hook cannot be hooked up. Even if it is barely hooked out, it will be like breaking firewood and breaking a reed, without "spirit". "Pen turning" and "pen folding" are also forms of movement that change the writing direction of the pen tip. But it is not like the rapid and "twisting" movement of "setting the pen". Instead, it changes the direction of the pen in a circular motion (turning the pen) and changes the direction of the pen in a square or folded manner (folding the pen). Turning strokes are more commonly used in cursive writing.

There are generally three steps in brushstrokes in a certain stroke: "start, line, and end" (called the "trilogy" of brushstrokes). For example, the long horizontal writing in regular script can be summarized as "a pause at the beginning of the stroke, a pause at the end of the stroke, and a quick and vigorous stroke in the middle." However, the strokes in cursive script are often connected, and we often use the broken parts of the strokes to determine the "start, move, and finish".

The speed of pen movement will also affect the effect of handwriting. If you can move the brush slowly and steadily at the starting point, you can make the stipples solid and powerful, especially the beginning of the stipples. The writing speed should be relatively slow at the closing, closing or turning points, otherwise the writing will slip by and become lifeless.

In the same font, the speed of pen movement varies. For different fonts, the speed of pen movement is also different. For example, the writing style of regular script is relatively slow and calm, while the writing style of running script is faster and lighter.

However, when we write, we should pay attention to the slowness and speed in order to be stable, and the fast and slowness in order to be flexible.
