Where is the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse? Are there any special buildings or obvious signs nearby?

Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, located in the ancient Diaoyutai scenic spot in the western suburbs of Beijing, was once the leisure palace of emperors, with a history of more than 800 years. In the Jin Dynasty (A.D.1115-1234), Emperor Zhang Zong built a Diaoyutai here, so it was called "the emperor's Diaoyutai" by later generations. In the early years of the Yuan Dynasty (A.D.1271-kloc-0/368), Prime Minister Lian Xixian built a villa "Wanliutang" here, which became a tourist attraction in its heyday. After Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, it was the villa of dignitaries, and many scholars gave banquets and recited poems here. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty cherished its beautiful scenery, designated it as a palace, built and raised Yuanzhai, Luqingtang, Xiaobixuan, Chengyige and Wanghailou, and personally wrote poems and set up plaques.

1959, in order to welcome the world leaders attending the celebration of the founding of New China 10, the China government decided to build 19 villas with different styles, which were officially named Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Since its establishment, the museum has received many heads of state and government from five continents, as well as celebrities from economy, science, culture and religion. Among them, Fangfeiyuan is the most important place to receive distinguished guests from all over the world.

Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, with towering ancient trees and mirror-like lakes, full of green covers an area of more than 430,000 square meters, of which the lake area is more than 70,000 square meters. In the distance, the water from Xishan Spring flows into the Diaoyutai Courtyard through Yuyuantan, running through the north and south in the garden, winding between the pavilion and the stone bridge in the forest, connecting the original Diaoyutai Palace with the newly-built hotel building, blending ancient and modern. Foreign guests are always full of praise for the "fairyland" with towering ancient trees, blooming flowers, mirror-like lakes and lush grass, and always linger. Diaoyutai State Guesthouse has been collecting paintings, porcelain and traditional furniture of Ming and Qing Dynasties with cultural value from the society since its establishment, and has been donated by collectors and contemporary famous painters and painters.

As the only building with modern style in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Fangfeiyuan is located in the center of Diaoyutai, with lawns in the south and central lakes, forest stone bridges and pavilions in the north, with pleasant scenery. Fangfeiyuan is the largest building in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, with the most complete venues and functions. There are 400 or 500 people in the grand banquet hall and two small banquet halls. Two living rooms; A multi-functional hall with a performance stage that can accommodate four or five hundred people; The special conference hall can hold large-scale formal talks; The lawn outside Fangfeiyuan can hold open-air activities for three or four thousand people; There are 12 suites and 34 standard rooms. Fangfeiyuan was rebuilt from 2000 to 2002. Its central building, the Grand Ballroom, is modeled after the Tang Dynasty by China, and the top of the hall is built according to the style of ancient coins in China. Nine chandeliers represent Fiona Fang in Kyushu. The grand ballroom is luxuriously decorated. Looking out from three glass walls, the scenery is pleasant and the grass is lush. The dedicated conference hall is second to none in the hotel. Large-scale talks such as the negotiation and signing ceremony of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea were held here. The multifunctional hall is large and wide, which provides conditions for the venue design of various activities. Since its completion in August 2002, Fangfeiyuan has received more than 60,000 people, including heads of state and government, people from all walks of life and internationally renowned enterprises.

Tanruoyuan is another place for sightseeing and feasting in Diaoyutai. It is the garden of Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, located in the southeast corner of the hotel park, covering an area of about 7,000 square meters. "Danruo" is another name for pomegranate. The park was founded in 1985. Because pomegranate trees are planted everywhere, they are named Danruoyuan. Entering the garden, I saw Chi Pan Quqiao, pavilions, cloisters, green grass, waterfalls and goldfish playing. Du Mu's pomegranate poem ┈ "Plum blossoms in May are as red as fire ┈" was inscribed on pavilions or stones by famous calligraphers, which has both the charm of classical gardens and a harmonious atmosphere. At night, lanterns are hung high, palace lanterns are bright and floodlights are lit, which is no less interesting than during the day.

Yangyuanzhai is the main hall of the palace built during the reign of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, and the word "Yangyuanzhai" was also inscribed by Emperor Qianlong. Yangyuanzhai is now a place for important meetings and banquets. This is the place where Comrade Deng Xiaoping's last official foreign affairs banquet (the visit of US President Ronald Reagan) was held. Yangyuanzhai has a reception room and a banquet hall, which can hold activities for less than 60 people. The banquet hall is resplendent and magnificent, with the inscription "You Huai Tuo Shi Quan, Happy in Sang Ma" hanging on two pillars, which is very royal. The living room is antique, decorated with thread-bound books and Diaoyutai poems sung by predecessors written by Mr. Qi Gong, which highlights the cultural color in simplicity.

Luqing Hall is smaller than Yangyuanzhai, surrounded by cloisters, rolling mountains, green hills and cypresses, and a small pavilion, which shows the garden interest. Qinglutang has rooms on three sides, which can be used for accommodation, reception and entertainment.

Since 1959, when it was first opened to receive Khrushchev, the former Soviet leader, more than 700 visiting presidents and heads of government have stayed in the elegant and luxurious presidential building 18. This building is also occupied by businessmen, tycoons and world celebrities. The late Mr. Hammer of the American Western Oil Company is a frequent visitor here; The heads of many world-renowned companies, such as Morgan Group, Dutch Shell Company and Sweden Ericsson, have stayed here.

The exterior design of typical ancient buildings in China, a pair of gilded bronze lions that have been lost from Yuanmingyuan for many years and returned to China, are located on both sides of the gate. Surrounded by buildings, there are scenery everywhere. From every window of the building, you can see the beautiful scenery of ancient gardens in China. Building 18 has 26 rooms, including presidential suite and deluxe suite. There are reception room, banquet hall, meeting room and four seasons hall. The President's House in China is antique, with imitation decoration and furniture, which is quite royal. The conference hall is solemn. Many Chinese and foreign leaders decide foreign affairs here. Most of the farewell ceremonies between the leaders of the China Party and government and the visiting guests were held here.

Building 12 has 17 presidential suites, luxury suites and ordinary rooms, as well as a reception room, a banquet hall, a four seasons hall and a conference room. The first person to stay here is Kim Il Sung of North Korea. US President Ronald Reagan stayed here during his visit to China. Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher loved this building very much, and she still asked to stay here when she visited Beijing after leaving office. The living room is resplendent and magnificent, and it is even thinner against the backdrop of Liu Haisu's huge Chinese painting "How Beautiful the Mountains are". The Four Seasons Hall is tall and bright, with rockeries, streams, springs, pools and various precious flowers and trees.

Over the years, in order to meet the needs of receiving distinguished guests from all over the world, Diaoyutai State Guesthouse has absorbed the strengths of various domestic cuisines, recorded palace cuisines, adopted folk snacks, foreign and world flavors, and adopted eight major domestic cuisines to learn from others, thus forming a "fresh, elegant, pure and elegant" flavor feature, which has been called "Diaoyutai Cuisine" by distinguished guests at home and abroad and the Chinese Cuisine Association. There are thousands of dishes in Diaoyutai cuisine. The State Guesthouse also cooperated with the Palace Museum and China No.1 Historical Archives to study ancient books and develop a unique and authoritative "Palace Banquet". The "palace banquet" in Diaoyutai is different from the palace dishes. It is not just a court dish, but a luxurious feast with court characteristics held in the palace of the former emperor of Diaoyutai. "Palace Banquet" is an exquisite diet based on the menus of Yong Zhengdi and Empress Dowager Cixi, and combined with the requirements of modern people's scientific diet, which has great health and beauty effects.
