The origin of pear blossom festival
Beichuan mainland is rich and beautiful, and Cangxi is cultivated by Jialing River. Cangxi, connecting Qinglong in the north and Jing Chu in the east, covers an area of 2,330 square kilometers. It was called "the spring in northern Sichuan" in ancient times, and now it is known as "Jinxiu Pear Town". Cangxi Sydney has a long history of planting, which has exceeded 1000 years. It enjoys a high reputation in China and is known as "the hometown of Sydney, China". Every March, "blowing open the petals of ten thousand pear trees" is beautiful.
Relying on the rich pear culture and unique ecological environment resources, Cangxi County Party Committee and County Government boldly promoted the strategy of resource transformation, breaking the traditional agricultural imprisonment of selling only fruits and not flowers in the past. Therefore, they proposed to hold the "China Cangxi Pear Festival" with the theme of "taking flowers as the medium, passing on classics by festivals, refreshing by festivals and becoming famous by festivals".
