Han once opened an antique shop, then studied opera, and studied Tan School's singing. I used to fill in records at Gaoting Records Company, which was quite influential. Once I learned to sing Nanyang Pass from him and passed on the singing method of "Fighting for Peace" by Han. The students handed down by Han Shenxian are: Wang Qinsheng, Wang, Wang and so on.
Han Shenxian was one of the early experts in calligraphy and painting appraisal in New China. He is as famous as Zhang Heng, Xie, the first person in the calligraphy and painting appraisal group, and serves as the deputy curator of Tianjin Art Museum.
