The former residence of Zhang Daofan
is located on the south side of the west section of Yanhe South Road, Shuangfeng Town, Panzhou City, Guizhou Province. It was first built in the 17th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1678). It faces south and faces north, with three courtyards, consisting of a gate, a hall, a main hall, a wing, a guest room, and an open floor. The total area is 2,000 square meters and the construction area is 1,350 square meters.

Zhang Daofan (1897~1968), courtesy name Weizhi, was born in Zhangjiapo. He joined the Chinese Revolutionary Party in 1914. In 1919, he traveled to Britain, France and other countries to study. In 1923, he joined the Kuomintang and served as chairman of the London branch. In 1924, he organized the art group "Tengu Club" in France with Xu Beihong and others. He returned to China in 1926 and served as acting director of the Department of Agriculture and Industry of the Guangdong National Government. In the same year, he returned to Guizhou to guide the preparation of the Kuomintang party affairs. He was arrested by Zhou Xicheng the following year and was soon released. After 1928, he served as member of the Central Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Kuomintang. Initiated the establishment of the China Literary and Art Association, the National Arts Association, the International Cultural Cooperation Association and the National Drama College. In 1945, he served as deputy director of the Second Division of the Attendant's Office of the Presidential Palace. His major works include the film scripts "Secret Code" and "Meet Again"; the drama scripts "Self-Rescue", "Mistake", "The Last Moment", and "Kill the Enemy and Serve the Country"; and translated works "Modern European Painting" and "The First Cloud and Mist" , "Di Siniang", "The Only Way"; the papers "My Views on Chinese Language", "The Literary and Art Policies We Need", "Three People's Principles on Literature and Art", etc. In 1946, he became a disciple of Qi Baishi, and has more than 100 paintings and calligraphy works handed down to the world. He came to Taiwan in 1949 and served as "President of the Legislative Yuan" in 1952. Died of illness in Taipei on June 12, 1968.

The former residence of Zhang Daofan is located in Zhangjiapo, Yanhenan Road, Chengguan Town, Panxian County. It was built in the 17th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1678). It faces south and faces north. There are three courtyards, each with a gate. It is composed of , passing hall, main hall, wing room, guest room, open floor, etc. The total area is 2,000 square meters and the construction area is 1,350 square meters. There are existing main rooms and two wings. The main room is a wooden structure with an overhanging green tile roof. It is five rooms wide and 18 meters wide, and two rooms deep and 9 meters deep. The carvings on the front eaves and window grilles of the main hall and Minglou are exquisite, and the window grilles have various patterns. Among them, the window grilles on both sides of the main hall door are unique in form. The middle part is in the shape of two continuous groups with the character "Shou", and the edge part is in the shape of two continuous 10,000-character grids. The two are connected by a four-square continuous transparent scroll, and the bottom of the window is connected by a strip. Four continuous hollow curly grass decorations. The plaque "Hong'an and the Spring" hanging in the main room was mentioned by the calligrapher Zhao Puchu, and the plaque "Qimei Hede" hanging on the door of the guest room was written by Chiang Kai-shek. This was a gift from Chiang Kai-shek when he celebrated Zhang Daofan's mother's birthday.
