How to do a good job in calligraphy teaching of junior middle school students in compulsory education stage

Writing is one of the basic training of compulsory education. Doing well in writing teaching plays an important role in students' study and future work. In recent years, most primary schools and some junior high schools attach importance to writing teaching. However, some senior primary schools and most junior high schools do not pay enough attention to this and lack strict requirements and training for students. Students have many problems in writing and lack good writing habits. Scribbled handwriting, irregular lines, untidy paper, and abuse of irregular simplified words and typos are also common. In order to change this situation, strengthen calligraphy teaching in primary and secondary schools in compulsory education and improve the quality of education, the following opinions are put forward, please refer to the implementation. First, full-time five-year or six-year primary schools should take effective measures to effectively implement the teaching plan, ensure good writing classes, and further improve the writing teaching level; Other types of primary schools should also arrange some writing training time to ensure the implementation of the requirements of writing teaching in the Chinese Teaching Outline for Primary Schools.

Second, there is no writing class in full-time junior high school at present. In order to strengthen writing teaching, all regions and schools can set out from reality, insert writing teaching into Chinese classroom, or arrange it in self-study or extracurricular activities. In terms of time, it can be used in a centralized way or in a decentralized way, but it must be guaranteed that the writing training time per week is not less than 1 class hour. Other junior high schools should also strengthen writing training according to the school situation to ensure that it meets the requirements of the current junior high school Chinese syllabus for writing teaching.

In view of the comparison principle of writing teaching requirements in the current junior high school Chinese syllabus, we have drawn up the specific requirements of writing teaching in junior high school (see Annex II), and hope that all schools in various regions will seriously study and implement them.

Three, primary and junior high school teachers, should strictly require students to write, strengthen guidance, so that students develop good writing habits. In the writing of composition, homework and test paper, students are required to write correctly, correctly and clearly, with neat lines and clean papers. For scribbled handwriting, measures should be taken to correct it in time, and when necessary, the scores of homework, composition and examinations in various subjects can be appropriately reduced.

Four, schools can, according to the actual situation, on the basis of generally strengthening the teaching of writing, carry out extracurricular activities to attract calligraphy lovers to participate, and regularly carry out calligraphy exercises and calligraphy exhibitions to cultivate or develop students' interests and specialties.

Five, according to the principle of "one syllabus and many books", all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government or other relevant departments can compile compulsory education textbooks and related teachers' books. Approved by the provincial (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) primary and secondary school textbook review office, and reported to the State Education Commission for the record, the preferred recommendation. Textbooks and teachers' books recommended to the whole country shall be examined and approved by the primary and secondary school textbooks review Committee of the State Education Commission.

Sixth, improving teachers' level is the key to strengthen writing teaching. In the teaching of basic Chinese knowledge, teachers colleges should do a good job in teaching and training writing knowledge, so that normal students can have the ability to guide students to write well. Local education administrative departments may jointly hold short-term training courses or lectures with local calligraphy education research groups to train primary and secondary school teachers, especially full-time or part-time writing teachers. Teachers' continuing education institutions and teaching and research institutions should take mastering the relevant knowledge of writing and writing teaching methods as a basic skill for teachers when organizing Chinese teachers' continuing education. All teachers should set an example for students in writing on the blackboard and correcting homework.
