The poem describing a sunny day is: The water is shining and the sky is clear. The poem describing a rainy day is: The mountains are empty and covered with rain, which is also strange.
It comes from "Two Poems on the Drinking Lake, First Sunny and Later Rain" written by Su Shi, a poet of the Song Dynasty.
The whole poem is as follows:
Part 1
The morning sun welcomes guests in Chonggang, and the late rain leaves people intoxicated.
Zi Jiajun doesn’t know this, and one cup should belong to Narcissus King.
Second
The clear sky is beautiful when the water is shining, but the mountains are also strange when it is empty and rainy.
If you want to compare the West Lake to the West, it is always better to put on light makeup and heavy makeup.
The translation is as follows:
Part One
When the sky was dim, I went to greet the guests from afar, and the morning light gradually dyed the mountains red. While boating on the West Lake in the evening, a burst of rain came from the sky, and the guests were already drunk and drunk. West Lake is so charming rain or shine, but guests don’t fully appreciate it. If you want to experience the magical beauty of paradise on earth, you should drink wine and appreciate it with the "Narcissus King", the patron saint of West Lake.
Second
On a sunny day, the water of the West Lake is rippling, shining in the sun, and it is extremely beautiful. When it rains, the mountains in the distance are shrouded in mist and rain, appearing and disappearing, and the eyes are confused. This hazy scenery is also very beautiful. If the beautiful West Lake is compared to the beauty Xi Tzu, then whether it is light makeup or heavy makeup, it can always well highlight her natural beauty and charming charm.

Appreciation of works
There are two poems in this group, but many anthologies only focus on the second poem, so the first poem has been Little known. In fact, although the second song is good, it is a footnote to the first song. The "this meaning" mentioned in the first poem, "I am a good person and you will not know it" refers to the West Lake written in the second poem, which is suitable for both sunny and rainy days, just like a beauty wearing light and heavy makeup to show off her beauty. If you don't choose the first song, the word "drink" in the title will not be found. What Su Shi means is that most people prefer sunny days when visiting lakes, but they don’t know that lakes and mountains also have their own advantages in the rain.
The first half of the second poem not only describes the scenery of the West Lake, but also the sunny and rainy conditions of the West Lake. "The clear water is beautiful when the water is shining" describes the water light of West Lake on a sunny day: Under the bright sunshine, the water of West Lake is rippling, sparkling and very beautiful. "The color of the mountains is also strange in the sky and the rain" describes the color of the mountains on a rainy day: under the curtain of rain, the mountains around the West Lake are confused and vague, and it is very strange.
In the second half of the poem, the poet did not follow the first two lines and further use his artistic style to describe the sunshine and rain of the lakes and mountains. The apt metaphor conveys the charm of the lake and mountains.
Between the metaphor and the ontology, in addition to the fact that West Lake and Xizi share the same word "西" literally, the poet's focus is only on the beauty of the current West Lake, in terms of wind and charm, and in imagination. The beauty of Xi Shi has its similarities that can be understood but cannot be expressed.
