Wu's introduction

Wu, a native of Laoting, Hebei Province, was born in Harbin in 1946 and moved to Beijing with his father in 1955. Graduated from China Literature Department of Renmin University of China, he is currently the director of Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Research Office of Chinese Painting Research Institute of Ministry of Culture, a national first-class artist, a member of China Calligraphers Association, a director of China International Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association, a director of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association of Ministry of Culture, a visiting professor of Capital Normal University, a consultant of Beijing Calligraphers Association, a director of China Guardian International Auction Company, and an executive director of China Minority Culture and Art Foundation. He has served as a judge and art consultant of the national painting and calligraphy exhibition for many times.
