Aisingiorro Yun Zhi, the third son of Emperor Kangxi, is the most outstanding one among many sons of Kangxi. His literary skills, calligraphy skills, or riding and shooting skills are the most outstanding among many princes in Kangxi. Therefore, it was also loved by his father Emperor Kangxi. It is worth mentioning that in the 31st year of Kangxi, Yun Zhi went hunting with his father Emperor Kangxi. He tried it with Kangxi, who was good at riding and shooting, but they were neck and neck. Visible, Yun Zhi is indeed a powerful role. There is still a big gap between this and the image of thin literati in Yongzheng Dynasty.
When Yin Yong was the crown prince, Yun Zhi always stood by the prince. Although he is not a princeling, he has always supported Prince Yin Yong. After the restoration of the Prince, Yun Zhi won the favor of Kangxi because of his harmonious relationship with the Prince, and was named Prince Heshuocheng. It can be said that when Kangxi was alive, Yun Zhi was favored by his father, but after Yong Zhengdi ascended the throne, this situation completely changed.
After Yong Zhengdi ascended the throne, the situation in Yun Zhi plummeted. When Yongzheng just succeeded to the throne, Yun Zhi was made a prince and was well paid. However, in the sixth year of Yongzheng, someone impeached Yun Zhi in North Korea and demanded a bribe from Sukeji. Yongzheng then demoted Yun Zhi from the prince to the county king and put him under house arrest on the grounds of "no courtiers' ceremony". It took Yun Zhi a long time to regain his freedom.
Two years later, Yun Zhi attended the funeral of Yunxiang, Yong Zhengdi's favorite brother, in March and May, and was late, with no trace of sadness on his face. It turned out that Yong Zhengdi didn't find it at first, until he was impeached by Yunlu's sixteenth brother. Yong Zhengdi was furious when he heard this, and immediately ordered him to win the title and be handed over to Zongrenyuan for conviction. Yunzhi and his family were eventually imprisoned in Yong 'an Pavilion in Jingshan, and soon died in this forbidden area.
After a brief look, we think that Yun Zhi's tragic experience is mainly related to his mistakes, such as asking for bribes, and he was late for the funeral of Yun Xiang, Yong Zhengdi's favorite brother, and didn't feel sad, so he was severely hit by Yong Zhengdi.
But in fact these are just appearances. Of course, we don't deny that Yun Zhi's experience is related to these "absurd things" he did, but the most important thing is that Yun Zhi once participated in the battle for the throne. What's going on here?
In many people's eyes, Yun Zhi just wandered in the literary world all his life and didn't care about politics. As for the so-called nine sons taking office, it has nothing to do with him. Yun Zhi yearned for his literature and calligraphy more than the throne. But is this really the case?
Actually, it's not. You know, in the "Nine sons seize the office", there is a place where the third son of the emperor is allowed to help. In addition, according to the records in the Draft of Qing History, in the battle for the throne in Kangxi's later years, Yun Zhi first stood on the side of Crown Prince Yin Yong, and we also mentioned that his relationship with Yin Yong was very good. When Yin Yong was abolished for the first time, Yun aspired to plead with Emperor Kangxi. After Yin Yong came back, Yun Zhi was loved by Kangxi because of his harmonious relationship with the Prince, and was named Prince Heshuocheng.
Of course, in the battle for the throne, Yun Zhi also helped Prince Yin Yong to attack others, and his brother Yuan Yin was a typical representative of the target. In order to compete with Prince Yi Yin for the throne, his eldest brother Yi Yin did everything he could, and even killed the town prince with some dolls. When Yun Zhi learned of this, he reported Yi Yin's behavior to Kangxi. Finally, Yi Yin was imprisoned and died.
From this incident, we can easily find that although the Prince of Yin Yan Town is an extremely despicable means, Yun Zhi's public exposure is also an insidious performance. In the battle for the throne in Kangxi's later years, Yun Zhi was not an outsider, but a person who was well integrated into the competitive team.
In addition, we can also know that Yun Zhi's move can not only bring down Big Brother with a high reputation, but also become the best successor in Kangxi's eyes after the second abolition of the Prince. But this is not the case. The ultimate power of the throne still lies in the hands of Yin Zhen, the fourth son of the emperor. Since you can't be an emperor, be your own prince and write your own articles.
However, after Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, Yun Zhijun seemed unable to sit still. In many of his articles, he always insinuates and often contains obscure words. During the Yongzheng period, Yong Zhengdi Daxing Literary Prison hated such articles. So gradually, Yongzheng became disgusted with his learned third brother. Therefore, it is only a matter of time before Yun Zhi is punished.
More importantly, Yun Zhi behaved so casually at the funeral of Yong Zhengdi's favorite brother Yun Xiang, which was not only disloyal to himself, but also to his dead brother and prince. So Yong Zhengdi can only grind his teeth and stamp his feet and imprison him forever.
