On the Hou Shi clan network, famous calligraphers include President Hou of Nankai University, General Hou, General Hou Mingxun, Ming Dynasty, Hou Ke Brothers, Hou Shuru, Hou, Hou Dechang, Hou Xueyuan, Hou Andeyu and Hou Zongbin.

There is no Hou Shangxian among the members of China Calligraphers Association.
