Calligrapher Xu Baoxun Xu Baoxun, not Gu Lin, Zhai Wuyutang, originally from Zhejiang, 1953 graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering of Tongji University, a famous calligrapher. He used to be the deputy editor-in-chief of Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Publishing House, a member of the Presidium of Shanghai Calligraphers Association and a member of China Calligraphers Association.

1953 graduated from the civil engineering department of Tongji University. He was a disciple of Pan Boying, and was good at Peking Opera, Tai Ji Chuan and calligraphy.

1977 inscribed an engraving of "Thirty-nine Poems by Chairman Mao" for Shanghai Painting and Calligraphy Publishing House and presented it to Chairman Mao Memorial Hall.

He used to be the deputy editor-in-chief of Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Publishing House, and now he is a member of the Presidium of Shanghai Calligraphers Association and China Calligraphers Association. His biography has been compiled into Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in China's Literary World and Biography of World Artists.
