For whom did Cao Cao go to war with Xiongnu?

Cai Yan, whose name is Moon Hee and whose name is Zhao Ji [1]. The year of birth and death is unknown. A native of Pi County, Chenliu County, the Eastern Han Dynasty, was the daughter of Cai Yong, a great writer in the Eastern Han Dynasty. First married to Wei Zhongdao, her husband died and returned to his home. Later, due to the invasion of Xiongnu, Cai Yan was taken away by Xiongnu Zuo Xianwang, married to Xiongnu, and gave birth to two sons. Twelve years later, Cao Cao unified the north, redeemed Cai Yan with a large sum of money and married her to Dong Si.

Cai Yan is good at literature, music and calligraphy. Sui Shu Jing Ji Zhi recorded a volume of Cai Wenji Collection, but it has been lost. The only works Cai Wenji can see now are two Sorrow Poems and Eighteen Beats of Hu Jia.

There are not many stories about Cai Yan in history, but the story of "Moon Hee returned to Han" has been widely circulated throughout the dynasties.
